I am a man of very few words, yet today I must express the very depreciating attitudes of the people on this server. Today I have joined a high TI party my friend and guildmate have put together, along with alot of random people. For the most part, these people are able to stick with us for the TI. However it has come to my knowledge there are those who are absolute 'ning nongs' and think its fine to finish their TI's and then outright leave, making the rest of us have to go back into town to recruit all over again. Mind you this person wasn't doing anything productive at all to begin with but did provide abit of that extra killing power necessary for the pesky Ancient Tree's which just won't crash into a wall and die.

I know I play an AB as a main, and I know that many people aren't like this, but for the love of all that makes humanity rightous, some duty of care can be taken by you to help finish the TI's for everyone. Like the world does not just revolve around you, you know?

Maybe its the fact that its hot here today, maybe its the fact my aircon is not turned on, maybe its even the fact I was on a Maestro just stringing and Alt+Tabbed watching Keijo while this all unfolds and get told we need to go back to recruit again, but seriously the fact that people dont seem to have a duty of care for others kinda grinds my gears.

'ning nongs'

Can confirm this was the actual term used and it was highly appropriate given the circumstances.

I know the feels of it too :p_swt: But at that time, an AB was just so apathetic he just finished his TI and not saying any word at all he went offline  And it turns out he is not a good support at all :pif: Some really took the parties that was organized for a long time granted, for their own interests. It's just too lame for them to do such thing.

that's the reason why i prefer solo or run with very small party with my friends. i hate random people, they do minimal dmg, greed everything, demand everything to AB and Sorc, and left without telling.

yeah, not all people are like that, but i rather to evade the risk to 0% by not inviting them at all.

I haven't done a pug TI party in a year. Solo/guild runs. You'd spend more supplies, but it's worth not having to put up with all that. Either ways, pugs were always like this, even way back when I actually was leveling often that way (2-3 years ago?). I wouldn't expect it to change.

Been inactive in levelling these past few months, but when I have leisure time I am levelling my warlock in Low TI alone (yes I admit it was supplies-consuming than having a party) but for me its worth it (except for support classes ofc).

Idk, i just carry the parties i'm in most of the time, and dictate the pace that it goes. Usually if someone taked a solid lead, others will follow up.

Here is the tip as AB in mid, high TI party

  1. Let the weakest die - do not support them and you end up the last in line while people in front already finish count

  2. If the rush nut ONLY be able to rush because of your support, let them die too, so you can control the party movement tempo

  3.  Anything in between - good luck

Bah! So it was you. I think I've partied with you. You you you.  :heh:

OT: It's not a new scene if I'm not mistaken. It happens quite often. It's either the main killer or the support that leaves the party and that breaks the party. Quoting from the great Asch- You need to dictate the party. Lead it and become the master that no one ever was.  :heh: Sounds familiar huh?

If you have buddies then how come you can't continue the TI run? Given that you're AB your friends should be killers? Hmmm... Leechers?  :heh:

I've done Low TI only in Chaos and everytime I do I just wait for the party to expire.  :heh: Like having turn ins twice then I'd leech for the third without counts. Wait for someone to leave and gives some gratitude and leave.

Well we cannot always ask folks for their time but they should at least have the decency to say something before leaving not just an outright "/leave". That's just too rude. Also, we cannot really blame people for having bad connections that causes them to unwanted-ly leave the scene by a sudden disconnection or by giving up on the crappy net service, but hey @aentunei, feigning DC is a punishable offense as doing drugs. Your president will soon be after your... behind. With a machine gun.

PUGs tend to be an adequate reflection of humanity.

So I'm not surprised when most of them turn out to be -_-.

But that's my experience from other MMOs. Never actually grouped with anyone here.

I knew how you felt marty, I played AB most of the time too and I stood as party lead most of the time so I can be selective by interviewing my pugs "foreign" party visitors manner and knowledge about the TI mobs firsthand before making a decision to invite them :heh:

Same. Then I thought it was a misspelling of "pub" for public party.

Apparently it means "Pickup Group"
Haven't really played other MMOs much so hadn't heard the term before.

“Selling high quality Lust Sea Relation Mending Pellets. They are capable of allowing you and your spouse to reach the peak climax where each wave of climax would be more intense than the previous…”

Lustful Marty and his perversion reference is back in action :heh:

I wish your reference novel was visual novel instead, it got nice cover page though :p_love:
