New player and very under budget here. I am struggling to decide which type of GX i should go for. I was planning to build DD DA for fast hunt and change my job at job lvl 42 (just in case i want to go DD crit). I am planning to use reset skill and status later on when i have enough money to buy the expensive equipment for DD crit. Is this a good idea? or should I change to katar? ( I dont mind using katar since its cooler)

Katar with Rolling Cutter > rest when it comes to grinding.

keep rolling until you strong enough to do instance or farm zeny
then u can keep using katar or using dagger,or both

Forget about DD Crit until you need several characters to store all your money.

Yes I hear DD is expensive.. Just get yourself a nice hunter fly carded thanatos katar, leech headgear (rideword or vanguard) um..basically anything to reduce potion usage while leveling and go spin spin spin! During the exp event, I was able to get my GX from high thief to 175/60 in about a week and a half? Centipedes then Scaraba then nightmare clock tower. EDP the whole way of course.
