Unless you feel like helping the community and the sense of doing the "right thing" is enough for you, you should never expect compensation.

I know the mods get WPE and some of them used to get items for their service.

Personally, I have turned in two major dupes. One with the mailbox system a while ago and one last year that created infinite zeny. I was given 5k WPE as a thanks for turning this in.
More recently, I discovered an exploit that would give anyone your account info. Itachi helped test it extensively and provided some in depth information. We were both given 1 month of game time.
I turn in these things because I want the community to be a healthy playing environment for everyone. However, I feel like the month of game time was a slap in the face and I am pretty sure that it came out of the batch that Oda was giving out for the holidays.

I've gotten a t-shirt for streaming.

 

Oda used to give me lots of 5 day vip codes which I never stole from (and even if I had, you can only use one anyway so lol) and I'm sure he expected me to help myself tbh. But I've never actually asked for anything from the staff except a little defense when people are being outright nasty as a result of my attempts to help the game community (such as streaming/advertizing/helping in getting people playing/advising in game and out/working on the wiki)

 

All I got was "reverse bias" where the staff pull on their brown pants because someone got salty with a guildleader. To prove they're not biased they hold certain people to a higher standard without even a word or any positive side to it. 

 

I don't get many donations on my stream and what I do get I forward to iRO wiki and those mean a lot because it's nice to know someone appreciates the work. 

 

Lemme give an example: 

So I started an iRO discord (which has like 70 active users) and there was one guy who was being particularly irritating, spamming "dead game" over and over. Well I used bots to simply censor that out so he could still contribute to the community. One day he decided to post porn. After a few warnings and requests not to, more porn was posted and so I banned him. 

 

In retaliation he scammed me ingame, said some nasty stuff on the forums. The GM team refused to help me get my stuff back and basically just let him carry on for a bit on the forums until he pushed it too far I guess. Some guildleader then accused me of hacking the guy to the CMs and never once did the staff feel the need to tell her that wasn't the case. 

 

No good deed goes unpunished on iRO. And I feel like they need their volunteers maybe now more than ever. But this is what happens. 

 

And if anyone is interested, I got my stuff back by looking up an old account info the guy had given me. I was then interrogated for "hacking".

I think Anh, Beautiful Girl was first. Unless this person is Kehei or Anh, they weren't even second.

I was the first RG and I did 1-150 and beat a lot of the 99-150 people.

i wasnt in iRO at that time. the race seems fun.
at least, i am 'proud' enough my mechanic is one of first 5 on the server going to 175.
and i feel like a celebrity back then when people in town amazed to see a pee shining robot wandering around, got a lot of PM saying "how do you do that?" "are u bloody branching" "how come bio4 party wants to accept you?" etc etc...

When I was looking at kRO screenshots quite a few dorams were wearing Excellion equips which reduce after cast delay, sadly we don't have those yet though.

Those are like Kiel cards, only reduce global aftercast delay. Not the actual skill cooldown.

Ah I see.

Ultimately I think some of the stuff people see dorams do on kRO videos may be due to the use of Excellion sets and Kiel cards.
