Hi all,

As title said, have anyone ever put note or count (roughly/average) how many iss/riss used to enchance from +0 - +20?
Not on double success rate event and without bonus enchant achievement and gears.

Im now considering between buying +20 gear or just buy the +0 gear and enchant myself but dont have any guess of how much would be the cost..

Thanks

The thing with buying +20 gear is, players use the grade/enchant/sc options as leverage to jack the prices beyond reasonable ranges. (Hello +% Max HP Soulcraft Capeshere!) So unless it's rolled bad in soulcraft you'll see it insanely overpriced. As with anything requiring heavy IM investment (F6 Rings, High Enchants, Upgraded Sockets, Etc.)

In terms of rates and such, it's hard to get an exact number. Some players will do 0-20 just fine in under 200 of each scroll. Some will take ages on some enchant levels, but then breeze through the next 3 or 4. It's very inconsistent and impossible to get an exact value. Just set a budget and work from there. Go Weapon, Cape, Top, Bottom, Helmet, Shield then debate on everything else.

Another option is to just do Weapon/Cape/Top/Bottom +20, then do everything else +15-16 and work them to 20 over time. Don't expect to become 100% perfect geared overnight some players are still investing 10k's of IM into seemingly perfect characters maxing options and re-legending or re-organizing their item builds.

I say that's a good starting point for each item. You'll get those times where just 1 level takes 20+ but I'd say 100 regular is safe for 1-15 and 100 reinforced should get at least 17-18.

Well, taking this to calculation,
100 scroll each alon is about 25-30k gold right (i forgot the price of each scroll, but shud be around that i think). Even with that CoolSam presume only able to get to +18. And we havent even count the dusts and golds to enchant.

For comparison, i saw some +20 legendary zauharant katar have a 35k gold price tag. Sometimes i even saw below 30k gold. Without checking what option it have, comparing buying +20 right away is more viable for me. (in this example a legendary zauharant)

Any thoughts?

Last time I made a weapon I used 70 IS (most of them went in soulcrafting) and 80+ RIS. And my average amount of scrolls used is a only little bit more.

Note that I'm using stylling pink with a rose, a balloon and an achievement which really helps in enchanting.
Since I used a lot of my scrolls in soulcrafting, you also need to add the fact that you'll use at least 40K souls if your luck isn't too bad.

Also enchanting without anything..? Doesn't sound like a good idea at all. At least get the medal, it is pretty cheap, and the Pirate balloon will be worth the tries that you would fail without it in the long run.

130+ RIS for me to enchant the weapon from +15 to +20 in x2 event o.O. Already have 8 piece of  Unity set equipped include balloon +4% as well as medal 1.5%.

It's all about luck xD when it was under x2 enchant rate event, sometimes i needed only around 40 IS and 40 RIS to make an item from 0 to 20 but there was also a time when I needed over 180 RIS to just make an IM belt to +20  :sob:

Reading all the comments, i think luck is far more deciding than the bonus rate boosters even if we have stacked a lot of them just like the case of 5536160818083443333 and easykill case.

And precrush's case seems very depressing :(

When you enchant a lot the average really matters, and that's what you make better with the boosts and events.

So true when I had approx' 100 tries to get +20 with Event+"4.5% configuration" on a day, and managed to +20 with a single try the very next day.

It varies wildly to say the least....

It took me about 300 RIS to go from +15 to +20 for my POS sword...no joke. The process was much smoother for my Paris Cape (about 100 IS and RIS!!)

Honestly, I remain quite sceptical about the accuracy of this game`s probability-related mechanisms...
