Hello guys,

 

Newbie here.... which is the cheapest class for MVP? By cheapeast i mean, the cheap gear and support items that'll need to kill MVPs.

 

And how does PVP works in this game? besides the WoE. I'm asking this, because i'm not seeing anyone at marroll thing or the pvp rooms. So it makes me wonder if there's PVP in this game besides the WoE.

 

There's instances below the level 99?

nope there's also BJ BG=BattleGrounds but its dead so your best choice is woe or the normal pvp are you in chaos? i think thor pvp is more active...

however if you want to kill mvp without hassle you could try these cheap to kill mvps

 

phreeoni, orc hero, maya are the easiest 

i have killed them with 2nd trans classes, ( paladin, lk, whitesmith, sniper ) free exp to get 99 faster 

for Phreeoni you might need undead armor since she stone curse you frequently and undead armor gives immunity to stone curse

( if you want to kite her with ranged attack ) 

 

orc lord is easy but a bit tricky and heavily camped by high lvl players

but here is your first place to learn "potting through EQ",

if you can survive this. next lesson is baphomet's eq, RSX's eq, Ifrit's eq, Valk's eq and lastly Satan Morroc's eq 

 

dark lord is easy too

with character around lv 100ish you can kill him

the key is to keep potting through his comma skill

the only requirement for killing dark lord is kill those dark illusions 

there is condition when he uses comma skill, then because his aspd is slow you are able to pot through it 

but there is also condition when he uses comma skill, then dark illusion hit you and you die 

so kill those dark illusions first because 1 on 1 , dark lord is pretty much nothing !!!

 

 

pharaoh easy too with low lvl character but  you will need an AB for aspersio since he is shadow elemental ( he has comma too )

use shadow armor, pack yourself with slims, the only thing you need to worry is the other high lv player that also looking for pharaoh

since if you are using low lv character you might kill slower than them

 

these all are the easy mvp to kill with low lv character based on my experience , scale from 2nd to early lvl of 3rd classes

even with +4 gears   save your gx,ranger,gene to camp other mvps somewhere

 

Mistress and GTB are also easy i think?

but personally i never met them on the field, never tried to look for them too except in ET

I'm sorry, but what does "EQ" means?

 

In the beggining i'm planning on killing low difficult MVP and i don't know which class would need a cheaper gear and less potions.

The potions are the least of your concerns, just an Old Card Album from some random MVP will get you thousands.

 

The simplest and cheaper, like some said before, is the ranger. It's also one of the best classes to start with when you still don't know the game.

If this is your first character, focus on leveling up and getting some basic gear to get going.

 

Once you turn into a Ranger, it will be easier for you to both get better equipment and complete instances.

It is up to you, if u like to play ranger.But u need to spend much more money to build up a ranger able to hunt MVPs.

You're making a 3B vs 10B argument here with the original poster asking for a 0 zeny character...

A gene with 1b gear is enough for every MVPs and instances. (I assume u gonna play AS ranger, ASPD ranger is impossible for u in this stage) AS ranger can't relay on +0 white wing set to do instances, need to use much more resources such as a good teammate, money and etc. Ranger is good to farm, good for beginning (before high ti). But eventually u will notice that AS ranger itself (specially you got no good gear) can't do much afterwards. I said to a lot of people, if u r focusing on MVP and instances. The cheapest character to mvp is a sura. 1 morph set. which you may get from kind ppl ingame.

and you just ms in gramps ti from 70-99 till sura. only thing needed to get is a mvp mace.

And 1 sp item = yr full max sp with power absorb *over time* but pretty fast.

It has the heal skill so you dont depend on the pots.

As for instances, types well you'll needs friends if you cant 1 hit. suras are pretty stupid for instances. but awesome for pvp.

Gene is excellent class for mvping but it is very expensive to maintain 

for one ET run sometimes you need to prepare 10-20m zeny just to buy bombs and other stuff

and also to me gene is only good at early days of mvping, i have gene too 

 

for end game playing, your bomb stuck at 500-700k dps even with 2x megingjards, high refined robot arm, and high tier equipments while

other classes are able to deal higher than it, example Aimed bolt ranger, Warg ranger, Sura, and the king of DPS : GX

assuming you are building these characters with 200b zeny or you can test in sakray if you want, ( minus god items ) feel free to compare it

also Gfist from pretty well geared Sura can deal higher than 4m,  6m++ to demi human mvps with KVM

 

this one taken from a lv 120 Sura with the gears are not even close to 1b

expanded classes is also good but they have lower hp and poor survivability    ( ninja classes still good )

soo build any character you like for mvping 

im showing you the possibility of mvping with low lvl characters  

because with pretty well geared and high lvl ones, it is not mvping, it is called bullying mvp

dont forget mvping is not all about gene or acid bomb

My gen bombs for more than that, but I have probably 300b in gear on it.

Either way, if I was going to go all out, I would choose an RK for farming instances and most MvPs.

Dorams will probably be one of the best MvPers for newer players.

 people start talking about 200b~300b gears. I can tell you when I got nothing (gears only worth 1.5b), still get ks from those well geared people who have 100b~ 200b. Unless they got convex mirror. Only three MVP I can't get ks was gioia gloom and morroc. Because the people who camping them got the best gear, convex and spend so much efforts and time. This game is talking about efforts, u try hard u get what u want.
