AA, CD, DP Points and Materials Reward System

I will begin with the points system: 

  • DP: no comment on it its pretty straight foward 
  • CD and AA: point system should be looked into, for example: I myself play FS and instead of standing under xtal I go ahead and follow my team looking for enemies to hunt down while supporting, the other day we had an AA game when while I healed 3x times what the other cleric in the team I got half his points just cuz his time under the xtal was greater than mine, one thing is to reward players for "defending" other thing is to ignore the fact that some players do actually enjoy other time of play styles.

 

Material Reward System:

  • DP: it's aii, fairly easy to get the materials, high kills give u high amount of clusters same goes for heals
  • CD and AA: cluster and essence farming here is just THE WORST, for example 20+ kills in an AA match which is a really good amount of kills will give u like 23 clusters? while with that amount on DP for example you are guaranteed the 48 at least! As for Clerics with heals it goes the same thing.

Points should be rewarded based on your performance, therefore while would be sitting under a xtal help it? 

 

Materials to empower runes should be looked into, now that AA and CD are finally being played again (EVEN IF IT STILL CRASHES ....) the least you could do is balance the cluster/essence ratio in all games.

yah and as for playing fs on pvp game why cant we get points from self heal

Easy to abuse, one person would get 2 characters on opposing teams, meet up, have character A attack character B, and character B would spam heal.

Oh, you're not suppose to do that? I mean, ... it's not like you can't HP Buffset a Dragon Summon and just heal that while the alt deals damage to it.... I mean, you can, but I guess no one else thought about that before. *shrug* They only have like over 200k HP, and you can summon a flame with it [maybe two, I forget my math on that] which will heal it for 20k HP every tic. But, whatever.

Summons dont heal each other and if you get a dragon in a cleric build, you will lack so many other things that you wont even be worth considering

Oh, I didn't realize you needed a viable build to exploit the point distribution system. I was just saying it's possible, silly me. [I'm being sarcastic btw]

I actually know just one cleric with dragons. I see him in CoU from time to time.

Yes, it is kind of very special build... you need so many skill points to get the dragon....  that's why I don't have it.

But well... it is cool somehow...

Dragons in PvM Would be 100% viable if they'd fix their DoT, make it an AoE again, and if they gave the dragons some type of roar/taunt to help with aggro control. As it stands though, they're really weak, slow, and not much use.

ist a joke that Dragon... like Lijona says  it is cool somehow... but useless, why put some cool moster and still do nothing ist like elementals, even a good Buff still do nothing to help you has a cleric, just buff and heal thats your job... and if you are alone... log off??? and went you go to AA or others PvP are pretty gaining points just healing? hahaha

will i think they should make the honor and valor points in all kind much more than what they are giving to us even with the valor book that gives u 50 % more that is not much in the end

 

if u want to git the valor skill book or change the valor to honor it's like

 

2500 k valor = 500 honor

 

come on do u know how much time if i play until i run out of energy and wait until i'm full again and then play to git that 2500 k valor

 

it takes weekes and month even cuz i have a life and i make some time for these game cuz i love it 

 

but for reall valor skill books 4k i don't think after i git my full gear i will keep the it going cuz it's kinda hard so much to these kinda work and time

 

for just few valor points and honor

Sorry but I disagree for the most part.

 

U can make some serious valor if U spam dungeons, and next to that the reason why this things are so expensive in terms of valor/honor points is because this is end game content.

And end game content shouldn't be completed within a couple of days... but rather weeks/months.

 

Oh and If you run out of energy you can buy GA Energy with valor.. Or get premium status and gain more points with the additional bonus and UNLIMITED GA.

 

 

And yes the whole ratio between all pvp games seems a little off for some classes.

I've already ran the numbers before. Honor has a spike potential nearly twice as high as Valor.

When you think about the min-max scenario, Honor has a significantly higher capping point than Valor. I'll throw a short example based on rough estimates.

 

Let's say you're in a pre-group, Honor booster, Premium and have a pocket healer. You'll be getting 500points on the average.

Most matches are fairly 'quick' lasting maybe 10 mins give or take.

Now, in 1 hour, you can get 5-6 games, @500 points per game, for around a total of 2,500 ~ 3,000 honor

 

Now let's say you're in a pre-group qeue for Dungeons, Premium and Valor Passive. You'll be getting maybe 350 valor on a good given dungeon.

Most dungeons, especially lately, take about 10 minutes based on your average group.

So, in 1 hour, you'll run about 5-6 games @350 Valor per run, for around a total of 1,750 ~ 2,100 valor.

 

Both of these are high estimates on purpose because like I said, I'm illustrating the maximum potential or high end expectation. 
When the AoE Spread mechanic was instantiated, it nearly doubled most DG run times who do any type of clearing at all. Now, you could argue "but what about SC, that's a speed run and it doesn't need AoE's" And you'd be right, but I'd immediately turn around and slap you with the fact that DP isn't an AoE Gank-fest and is easier to manipulate and farm. So we're back to square one.

 

The point is, Valor WAS slighty* faster some long time ago, but it's not anymore... not by a long shot in reality. The fact that the conversion rate implies it's 5x faster to get Valor than Honor is just madness at this point and it needs to be addressed. It needed to be addressed before, but now it's just a bloody shame. I literally tell ANYONE I see, if you're a PvM player, it's actually cheaper AND faster to use valor to sell for zulie and just buy the damn books from IM sellers. Which is probably what they want, and I don't blame them. But when you start putting hard dedicated work as a lesser value than the cash shop, that's when I start to get a bit pissy. IM is there for luxury, expedited services, and most obviously style. it's NOT for you to shoe-horn mechanics into the gaming experience that make us feel obligated to buy content. 

But, that's a whole different issue.
