They have low base attack and size penalty vs medium & large mobs. Should they buff knuckles for Sura? It's only natural for knuckles to be their main weapon.

I agree. There's not much incentive in using Knuckles for Suras afaik and neither do they have skills that require those which should prompt them to use it over Maces. I think the only Knuckles beneficial to Suras are the KVM Knuckles.

Off topic: wonder how priests look like when wielding Knuckles. Do they show in their battle stance or just invisible?

It just looks like they're barehanded, and they attack like they're swinging an invisible mace. It also drops their aspd to like 30.

Your prayer just got answered buy Overseas Care Package 2. Ever heard of Spartacus?

Its technically better than kvm mace if you put Samurai or MoT card with Turtle General.

Go figure.

I thought the spartacus will give the 100% for all monsters when its at a particular refine lvl.

And/or will it go over the 100% to the different sizes?

Also are theses weapon available in sakray to test?

The iron nail and the Spartacus?

Yep. No need for a drake card but it should be +10 or higher. Fair enough right?  :heh:

I think you guys are misreading it. I read it as giving extra 100% atk on all sizes, not reducing the weapon size penalty.

Still, even if it's 100% atk mod, it's a very weak weapon and maces outclass it easily.

I'm reasonably certain a crimson knuckle will outdamage it easily, especially since eATK bypasses size mod entirely.

It is 100% (or 2x) damage to all sizes.

Oh knuckles won't ever surpass maces unless their effects become way better (aka "OP"). That being said, this does make a combo Monk viable in iRO again. Gives us Monk classes more equipment versatility.

the 100% atk mod is so awesome with eq atk item like gscaraba and +13/14WDEH, but ofcourse we need both drake and maybe penetration set :heh:

Is that like penetration since its bypass def?

Also is it on sakray to test?

They can just remove size penalty from knuckles. Barehand doesn't have size penalty.

That's because barehand has no wATK and only wATK has size penalties.

Basically a brocca with 100 bonus eATK if you max certain skills (veteran fist?).

Could be ok on high def enemies, but for all around purpose crimson knucks still wins IMO.

admittingly that spartacus has me wanting to attempt bringing back an actual combo monk (not flash) for mvp'ing. i remember seeing this vid long time ago of a combo monk just using RTF and RQB over & over.. he never finished with the last of the trio attack so as to keep the 3hit combo going on & on

edit: dude had like 3k hits per single hit though and this was back when renewal was brand new

Also you guys are missing that the spartacus gives 1% damage per refine.

The kVM mace is better but if you socket a Samurai and or MoT card with hydra or Turtle general card at +14-15 refine, this will deal more damage than a kVM mace in terms of TC and even GoH. Gfist should be more or less the same with kVM mace.

Gfist already pierces def so samurai doesnt boosts it. Also def piercing skills dont receive bonus from Thanatos, so the card is wasted. in Gfist case, kvm still beats it. Plus the size penalty

It'll work for TC and GOH. And yes I got the same feeling about that, kvm mace probably will beat spartacus with regards to gfisting, but I will run actual test later to make sure.
