Since we got a bunch of new items with the overseas boxes, I wanted to add the new stuff to the WL page. (+ Maybe some old stuff because cast delay reduction.)

Before I do that I'd like to have some feedback on stuff I want to add + my reason for wanting to add it. Also I might have missed something nice so... :v

(And no character wiki page should be the work of only 1 person.)

new items:

Piercing Staff [2] - 2 slots and mdef bypass by upgrade

Love Piece - Phen effect is always good to have

Toy Syringe - more healing is always good to have, especially for instances

Pale Moon Hat [1] - upgraded to +9: rip Thanatos

Nero Mask - a cheaper and slightly worse (1% difference) version of Blue Lichtern mid headgears, mostly for more dmg with Frost Misty + Jack Frost combo

Kardui Robe [1] - +10 matk, +5 mdef, resistane to demi-human

Etran's Undershirt [1] - at +10, only for situations where you can get knocked-back (ex. OGH archers) - situational

Valkyrie Cape [1] - Valk Manteau is on there, so this should get a place too, Perfect Dodge is love

Gyges Ring [1] - +30 matk, +3 int, hiding lvl 1, slot, good accessory overall

Goal Tender Mask - 8% more physical and magical dmg vs demi-human (ex.: GMT, WoE, demi-human mvps)

Baby Dragon Hat - when fighting dragons: +10% dmg and +5% experience

cast delay stuff for chain lightning use without strings (old and new items):

Heart Wing Hairband [1]

Expert Ring [1]

Spirit King's Ring [1] - more expensive expert ring with +5 vit and no increased sp use - nice if the player also has a sorc

New Wave Sunglasses

Baron's Evil Eye - not as good as good as New Wave Sunglasses but cheaper

edit: added links, baby dragon hat

Does really noone want to comment on these items? :v

If noone has anything to say about them till monday I'll just go ahead and add all of them to the WL wiki page, no matter how situanional some of these are.

i think you can add those that are more aimed to WLs essentialy, those with like cast delay/unbreakable cast etc. More general stuff like valkyre cape/etran's shirt isnt that much needed. Y'know, if we add every single situational gear on irowiki class pages that thing will turn into an essay lel

I guess I can just add something like "A Valkyrie Cape has the same effect." to the Valk Manteau description. Since the Valk Manteau is already on the page.

Leaving out general stuff would mean leaving out:

Toy Syringe

Pale Moon Hat

Etran's Undershirt

Goal Tender Mask

Baby Dragon Hat

Sounds good. :v

Pale Moon Hat is love, Pale Moon hat is life.

I wouldn't bother about the others, except the Piercing Staff, which is too expensive for an items that NEEDS to be at least +12 to have a place in the world as a situational item. And I agree with Ash regarging everything else. I wouldn't even put the Valk Manteau in the first place. :P Too much info can confuse more than explain, specially for newer players.

I bought a NWS for my RK, but I've been using it to fight Bakonawa... looks like delay reduction gears for warlocks are not that great unless you can stack a lot of them.

Valk Manteau/Cape are some of the most awesome defensive garments tho. :v

Perfect Dodge is love, Perfect Dodge can save your butt.

Pale Moon Hat is way more situational imo, being only useful vs. Thanatos.

(Edit: Oh and there only are 4 Garments listed. 5 if you really want to count the Cape as it's own even though it just is a Valk Manteau clone.)

Why do you see the Piercing Staff [2] as situational?

And yes, cast delay reduce is pretty awesome once you stack it, but meh otherwise.

I know that Valk Mant is good, I have a set for tanking too, though I've been tanking less and less by the day. I also agree that PMH is waaaaay more situational, but it's situationally otherworldly. I mean... reducing the damage from that odious gorilla by half, for when he changes element can save your life, and +50% damage against one MVP that you already deal a lot of damage against... XD And it's useful from +0, OK from +5, great from +7 and AMAZING at +9, and you have no need to go further! This alone is gold! If we had one of those for each MVP, I'd buy all!

Piercing Staff is basically the best agains MVPs only, and most MVPs, not all of them. For (some of?) those that it's not the best, Warlocks seem to suck anyways, because shadow property. You won't use it to PVM, you won't use it to PVP or WOE, and it's useless below +12, and expensive AF for an item that need such a high upgrade to be useful. I don't mean that it doesn't deserve any attention, but I think it's a good idea to let people know that it's use is VERY situational. I'm not even saying that you should add this info to the article, though, I just stated my opinion and am defending it.

5% damage with fire/water/wind/earth magic

Every 5 lvls increases the damage of Firebolt/Coldbolt/Lightning/Earth Spike by 1%

The bolt thing makes it look more like a Mage than a WL specific item imo. :/

Well technically all of the "class accessories" from jRO are usable by all classes, the only restriction is lvl.

Its a very good accessory for hindsight/spellfist sorc, 2 of those is like having 3x siromas/imps.

True, but I can see where this will benefit a Warlock in 'hindsight'.

Well while not a part of the "class accessory" gears, jRO already made some bery great stuff for WL, like a staff that boosts Hell Inferno and gives 50% mdef pierce, and the Kardui combo( not only Robe+ Survivor Staff, there's also Kardui's Ear(mid) and shield) that gives a freakin lot of matk for a single mid headgear, gives 2% matk for every refine of a Book/Staff weapon carded with Tendrillon(+10 weapon turns the Tendrillon wich gives just atk into basically a Timeholder), and the combo with the shield eliminates the cooldown of Comet(this effect doesnt work during RM proc and with FBH equiped)
