Greeting guys,

I have played on Classic server for many years, only for WoE.

However, I recently came back to Chaos from Classic, looking for some information about WoE build.

 

Here is what I'm planning,

 

Samurai GX for CI and Ripper

 

Str 120

Agi 110

Vit 100

Int 10

Dex 100

Luk 40

 

Wep: +12 Samurai Spector Guillotine Katar FS4

Head: +12 CEB True Sight

Mid & Low: Tengu set (the reason why I got 120 str)

Armor: +9 WoE suits (GR, Pasana, Marc, etc)

Garment: +9 WoE Manteau (DR and Noxious)

Boots: +9 WoE Boots (Firelock)

Acc: Double Bakonawas

 

My questions:

 

1. Is it possible to kill most classes with CI skill with this setting?

(GX Calc shows that SS GK has almost double CI damage than Glorious Bloody Roar. However, would it deal enough damage to kill most classes even with WoE armor set?)

 

2. Is there anything that I should change on this plan?

 

3. On classic, reflect damage was so annoying. Is it the same on Chaos?

 

4. Overall, is GX a good enough class for WoE to invest so much zeny? (SS card)

1. Nope, reductions hit GX very hard. You can still kill some ppl with CI spam/chain, and burst someone with dark claw CI, but dont expect too much.

2. Consider a wakwak card for woe manteau, without a shield those garment cards wont help a tiny bit. And well alwawys walk with gear to switch into defense. RWC Rings Atk6% with gold scaraba do better dmg than bakos. Aspd is not a issue if you gonna exclusively CI. Megs are even better ofc.

3. No. It is reflected after reductions are applied, but still be carefull when dealing with RGs or their Sacced targets.

4. No.

agree,gX can doin woe but gX is not for woe
there are better class for woe,like shadow chaser,sura,ranger etc.

but still im using gX and still enjoying the fun in woe

Poison GXs are very good in WoE. From my experience, they are very annoying and very effective. If you want to play a killer GX, well, you can kill when your team is having advantages ie the enemy team is already getting wiped.

on Classic, Assassin Cross (Sonic Blow can kill most of the classes with one shot) and Sura (PUNCH!!!) are the best killers.

Sadly, GX seems not so good in WoE.

Should I put SS card on BxB instead, then go for Ranger? Is Ranger considered a good class on WoE?

Because Hunter was a terrible class in WoE on Classic.

Because Hunter was a terrible class in WoE on Classic.

Ranger was a good class with SS card before the Imuke shield, which then invalidated it, or at least made it much more difficult.

If you Wanna see any action in WoE youre gonna wanna be:

A) A RK with B.Katz
A Sura
C) A SC
D) A Maestro

Other classes have roles and do things, yes, but these are the four things that ever actually do anything that guilds will sweep you off your feet for.

GXs, from what I understand, are more of a supportive class. They spread Magic Mushroom and Leech End, break emperiums, pick off support classes, and spam CI when available.

If u try to get a Tao, you can go TC sura with samurai carded weapon, if u really wish to keep the samurai.

I wouldn't say weakest, it just doesn't do the big flashy things everyone is looking for. Every gear does it's work in a machine, some are bigger than others, but they all have their purpose.

Oh. I wasn't referring to expanded classes. Are they even really classes? Gravity hates expanded classes.

Any class can kill someone without reductions tho, not much of an accomplishment. I've 1shotted rangers with my support sorc without damage gears '-'

They have a very strong purpose for providing meteor storm spamming in precasts. There is a very small window in the updates where Red Twinblades are released, but valk armors and flame skull cards do not exist yet. What that means is wizards will either need a designated status recovery HP or run high vit builds. Biochemists are weak because they either require status recover spam or they go vit (which makes them die to bomb and do horrible dps). It is possible and has been done to get stun immunity, insta cast, and still decent amount of int on a super novice for additional/consistent meteor storm spam. It is primarily for the stun and secondary is for damage, although its a unique AoE because it stacks.

 

Pre trans of course. For Renewal and every other point in time besides between certain updates... Yes SN are useless.

a little suggestion.... use enchant poison and venom impression.... its a core skill to kill...

savage bbq, drosera herbs stew, minor basket, hp large potion, honey pastry, green candy, millitary ration c, sesame pastry, 

 

steamed scorpion, immortal stew

 

str agi and vit food buff is a must to survive atk flee and hit food too
