Hello

 

I would like to ask for support.

 

I'm living in Vietnam. I have a problem of play Cave of Ulverick with a remarkable delay & latency,

so I decided to connect via a US VPN so that I can play CoU with ease.

(I used to use Hotspot Shield connecting to US Server which worked fine with disconnections

every hour.)

 

Today I tried connecting to this VPN: 

 

I connected successfully and the client loaded like this:

 

It is shown that I've successfully connected to Login/Character & World servers.

 

But once I started the client & tried logging in, I got stuck at "Connecting to Server", 

then ended up failing to connect like this:

 

Is using VPN against the rules? If not, could you please help me resolve this? 

Because it will allow me to play CoU with less delay/lag instead of crazy troubles at the moment.

I noticed some delay & latency issues for CoU

Usual when more then 12 games are being played at the same time.

Seeing as VPN's are being used to by-pass the client limitations for Arena's, I'd suspect they're against the rules. If they aren't they will be very soon.

I have to admit I've heard people've been using VPN or proxies that way.

(Although I wanna know how myself too? Unless you have more than 2 PC/laptop? I got only...)

 

Well, I used US VPN because it helped me experience less delay and latency in Cave of Ulverick,

which is currently the most run dungeons, extremely lagged when there are more than 10 at the same time.

 

But then it didn't let me connect so I gotta make do with what I have right now.

Connecting to a VPN is only going to make your lag worse mate.

Because instead of connecting directly to the servers, you're now bouncing your signal through the VPN then to the server, and responses also have to pass through the VPN before coming to you. 
If you're doing it for lag purposes, I'd just not do it lol.

Despite what you're saying, it worked.

Several times are some lag CoU, that's because the server got +5 in Group CoU already them we grasp some lag, diference of country, server and companions that's why got lag, you try to conect VP to USA to has better chance not DC, but you need to know if you reach time between you and the server, the server recognize you has not good conecctions or worst some intruder ^^
