Oh i know of that Server and Story.

 

I even made a Post here on this Forum to give us the same Opportunity.

 

It seams to me you don`t understand why the Russian Server with the Hardcore Setting and even the Normal Setting Server was bound to fail.

 

It was actuality because of Gravity US.

You Guys did not sent any new Updates or provided Service.

 

You say its because of Hardcore settings thats a complete lie. 

 

They had a Server with the exact same Settings like our , so how can that Server fail as well?

 

Is complete nonsense what you say.

I didn't try anything. I just said what happened and it hinted on what can happen again. There must be another way.

 

And you can not know why Russian servers ended up closed.

 

There is no hope to have even a slighest part of players on new "hardcore serve"r. Players achieved too much in this game to give it up like that.

Oh i can know for sure, you just have to read this Forum easy as that. But i know already you don`t read or understand posts.

The Russian Community went to our Forum, when Rumors about the closing of the RU Server came up. And even quote their old GM`s. 

 

You don`t even have to learn Russian for it, to know what happened.

 

You say there must be another Way but don`t even understand our concerns.

 

Its not about going back to S1.

 

Its about balancing Starter Zones for the new Player it`s about bringing back the Hardcore Feeling.

 

This has nothing to do with sacrifice of Items that Player have today.

 

It has to do with Future updates like the new Armors and stuff.

 

What you don`t understand is the Fundamental difference between a Game for 12 Years and an Adult Playerbase

 

We want a better Battlefield Quality lesser OP E-peen  and less inflation.

Who is "we"?

 

Helium? than you don`t have to forward it.

 

BF Quality is all about Team play. 

 

I said that already in my latest Posts, if you only need to Dash/Stun forward to kill someone thats not healthy Game play looking here to Druid/Element.

 

It has to do with the traditional Role Play Concept , whats a Supporter.Tank or Attack Damage Carry purpose on the BF.

 

You know why we had to reduce so many durations from WL or other Classes the stuns, silence and other crowd control today and not in the Past?

 

Well simply because everyone today is simply a DMG Dealer Nothing besides Scad matters. In the Past Crowd Con troll was in balance with the average DMG Output. Today a longer silence simply kills you because of the more DMG Player are able to do.

 

Thats not skilled Plays you press 1-2-3 and the other is dead. Sad Game.

 

Why set up as a Ranger a long Range Stun if it takes 2-3 Secs, when i could do 2-3 Shoot in the same time that are most the time enough to get the kill.

 

DMG is today everything. In the Past not even the PB was able to do that much Burst DMG.

 

So how to make it better?

 

Well first you have to understand if you give a Class a huge DMG Potential than this should come with a Prize like High Risk high Reward.

 

The Screenshot Armor that someone was posting here before shows only High Reward. Because you put so much Resist from Int and High Defense on it.

 

You delete all Weaknesses. Classes will all feel the same if you do it like this. 

 

They have to keep their natural Race/class weaknesses.

Each Class had in the Past a Counter Part, then you gave Berserker Heal and Adamant Mind that was the beginning from the End.

 

If you are really interested just ask Helium for the Posts from the last Representative Group, the Older Group it`s not only about my talk Kazara and Elflord know this as well.

 

Sadly it falls all on deaf Ears.

I got your point. In some way inventing (S)CAD xeons became a reason why you can KO players in 2-3 hits even tho they are same level as you. Almost every class can become both durable and powerful. It's not right when everyone can take a role of Protector doing raids, many things need rescaling or something. I will try to deliver your position to helium. But you must understand how much time it might take to bring back shapes of old Requiem. This game was progressing for many years and it's unlikely gonna be brought back in short time.

Well you only have to start in the right direction- thats all we ask for.

 

But that requires a different sight on the Game.

 

Helium says a good Raid should only last 10min. Thats just nuts. When you compare it with the old Raid times.

 

Even a Battlefield Match takes x3 times longer. It speaks for itself. Quantity over Quality.-

 

So if he is the one who makes decisions than thats the Problem that needs to be fixed first.

Vulpe see its stuff like this that lead me to believe either you are new or haven't played in a helluva long time. For one you wouldn't say things like "Helium is working on things be patient" Becuase you would know that this is a downright lie. Nobody playing this long has anything good to say, even the absolute nicest believers in req. Go ask Kaz how hard hes tried to get things changed. Go ask Apollio (if he's not banned).

Any people who complain about leveling being to hard are simply lazy. Even at the start of S2 the leveling wasn't bad. So please, if you want people to take you seriously state facts, not nonsense the staff wants newbies to believe.

Also I was a rep, don't give me that "helium working on stuff nonsense" I discussed things MANY times directly with the man I know exactly how he works. But you say you've been here since the game opened? Shame on you for being indoctrinated. I completely understand attempting to speak well of the staff, hell I even tried to while I was a rep, but one thing I never did was excuse their shoddy performance. Its taken them 4 years to update skills for a game with 4 races? Lol gtfo of here sometimes people just suck at their jobs and need to find a place that fits them better.

-Usual Helium Convo to follow -

"Hey helium did you look at those proposals?

"Hey I just got done mapping out new Nova and working on a design for a new event."

"That's great...but did you fix druid bug? They so broke there are only 5 in game."

"Yes that's a great idea but I've been so busy I have to leave the office Ill work on it tomorrow after I get finished learning a new way to design the new maps"

"Ok what about skill updates?"

"What skill updates?"

"The ones we were just talking about that have taken 2 years to implement"

"Oh yah those. -_- em. Max lvl mages should be able to wipe out scores of people in a single skill all the while blocking as effectively as melee characters."

"...Fine. Can you at least look over the proposed ideas?"

"Didn't you say Alteris is working on a different game now?"

BloodyHalo, I'm sorry if I did something wrong. I can only help you to deliver your suggestions to helium. I'm doing my best trying to catch him while he's online and I tell him what players want. That's all I can do at the moment. And that's exactly what I do.

I also have proposals of my own. Few ideas came to live already. Here is a small part of what I and our community suggests. So please stop false accusations.

Firstly, everything I said is completely true, not falsely accusing anyone, and as far as I know you've done nothing wrong, just standing up for the wrong people. I understand your position as I at one time was in the same one. But, as I learned. ReQQ staff simply does not listen to players, old players, or you, and you're basically just a scapegoat. How many times has Helium come to explain the problems? Your ideas look good! Which is a shame Becuase they will probably never be seriously considered. The better the idea the less attention it gets. But you'll see, just give it some time. I can honestly say working with the staff was infinitely more annoying than playing the game with no insight.

Especially when you're expected defend staff while your friends and long time faithful players are being banned left and right for telling the truth.

This is TRULY epic, I mean really it is.

 

It more or less summarises the philosophy that governs little old ReQQ, actually was always the case but so much more now. And there are still people out there hoping and waiting for "balance" or "re-balance" of classes / skills / items / you-name-it...

 

Some of us rotten oldies already knew the story, and even if we weren't 100% certain, we suspected, but oh dear, in the recent years of terminal decline, how much further proof one would need? Especially if you actually had the "honour" to interact with the "management" in one way or another.

 

The saddest part of it all is that are still people around ready and willing to be fooled (and milked), I guess they are a lost case, as is this old little beloved game we used to adore with all its imperfections.

The game is now very much alive. With more online. Hardcore introduced new sets of armor, it is even more to revive the game.
Who says that the game is dead

But Gravity has a half baked steam authenticator that doesn't let you use an old account or pay through steam. Most older players don't show up as a result which would include the Russians.

The old Client User / Russian Player are not included. It`s a Steam Statistic.

 

They represent the "Future" or better says the "new marketing".

 

The Old school "buzz marketing" the "Kalydo service" and even the  "Facebook" Server all failed.

 

Well we heard all the excuses already. 

 

For me it`s pretty simple the "Product description" is simply fallacious. There is nothing Horror or Adult about the Game anymore.

 

Lesser and Lesser Game Quality and Inflation turning this Game into a deadlock.

 

My Point is: just look how many Installed the Game and how many actually Stay. Speaks for itself. Special if you compare that with the Old Numbers.

 

Was the exact other Way.

It was back in 2008-12ish before new "devs" took over and it all became 100% item mall. And that's coming from a mall whore. Now I wouldn't bother with it. You stand no chance unless you spend quite a bit of money, and even then you better choose the right class Becuase a max lvl/geared class X will NOT equal a max lvl/geared class Y. Think most mmorpg logic and then picture the exact opposite. That is Requiem.
