suras using flee gears lol, coz 600+ is hardly doable even for gxes unless you use flee gears/cards. I'd say up to 530~550 is still achieveable regularly for sura.

yeah, that's using flee gears already. +9 Nine tail Felrock cloak is a thing in thor <3

magic tree final skill :

 

all tested

 

1. chance to increase matk after using SV Root, for 3 seconds. im not sure by how much but the different is not great, 4-6k

 

2. auto cast SV Stem when using CN Meteor, its like when you use meteor skill to mob monsters around you and there are few leftover monsters that hitting you with ranged attack out of your aoe range, your character will hit them back with insta-cast SV Stem

 

3. increase matk when using Nyang Grass, yupp awesome combo.

nyang grass is debuff skill that decrease enemy def and mdef by 50% ( monster ),

decrease player equipment def and mdef to 0 ( player )

 

4. chance to get speed potion effect when using SV Stem skill

That giant Thorn Vines quest is so AWFUL for a starting quest 

 

We're looking into this quest to see what we can do with it.

That giant Thorn Vines quest is so AWFUL for a starting quest 

it's not so much awful as it is misleading, it's really hard to tell where the thorny vines actually are, because it shows no "shadow" on the ground like most interactive floor markers do.

I added an effect that will appear when you wander within 4 cells of the npc, and only if you are on that stage of the quest.

Patch applied about 5 minutes ago.

But camp said that it was supposed to be the Catnip Fruit, on the first page of this thread, and that it was fixed. That's why I'm asking.  Or I read that wrong, one of the 2.

Oh sorry I read that wrong, yea only Catnip Fruit not the other one.

took me 3 hours to find it , not counting i went to cave multiple times and check the thorny wall one by one

 

yes, you need to add "shadow" on the ground

 

also the quest says "east and Outside of Ravioli Forest"

if its outside of the forest map then it is inside the cave right ? i was thinking like that

 

turned out the thorny vines are in same map with forest

you can skip it anyways, just RODEX your new character, give them zeny to teleport to Izlude and Prontera

dont talk any npcs after you create your character, go to lasagna town and go to ship in the north

I spent 2 hours looking through that cave while leveling -_- and I had no idea you could SKIP the whole introduction to them like that.  Hopefully you can on release too, because the whole thing is...tedious...and the beginner gear they get really isn't that good(except those boots, they're really nice at that level).

Vines are just outside the cave entrance.

I know, but it didn't make it clear in the game where they were, so i spent almost 2 hours fighting and looking for them before I finally found them.

i was like "Ahh finally i will get teleported to inzlude"

 

NPCs be like "nopee we have one more tedious quest for you to do"

KNOWN ISSUES: 

  • Parfaille Vigilante Hat: It has no sprite when worn.
    • Fixed in todays patch 2/13
  • Parfaille Vigilante Hat has a sprite now but it's the wrong sprite.
    • We're looking into this.

^I know dorams are being put in today but has this been looked into yet? The sprite is still wrong. This hat is pretty much like the novice academy hat for dorams. It doesn't make sense to not have this fixed yet still.

This is changed in the final build. The quest journal is a little more explicit and there's a graphical indicator when you're near the vines.

It's better if you can put In the navigation after the dialogue so the newbies like me won't be upset looking for it lol just suggesting.

There is a giant "lock on" target when you get close to the NPC. Its very noticeable.
