I hope it's okay to post this here. I'm trying this new official server. It's a combination between classic & renewal. I think it's still in episode 1 now. There is no Lutie yet.

Classic

- Episode 1 map/item/equipment/card. (Old Payon yay! West Orc Village yay yay yay!)

- Up to 2-1 class only. (They will update it to 2-2 class and trans later, then probably expanded class. But there won't be 3rd class, they already have a renewal server)

- Novice Training Ground.

- 1st class job change quest.

- Exp table.

- Monster spawn/drop/hp/exp.

- No exp penalty for monsters of higher/lower levels.

- No fixed cast time.

- No reset stat/skill yet or ever. (Most players don't want reset to be implemented)

 

Renewal

- Stat & skill formula.

- Equipment stat (Atk & Def).

- Increase shared exp with more party members.

- Monsters can use skills.

 

Custom

- Added long cooldown to Teleport skill.

- No Fly Wing sold by NPC instead VIP (0.75$/day) can buy Unlimited Wing of Fly Box (3 hours rental) for 20k zeny.

- No safety refine level. You need Enriched Ores to safely refine up to +7/6/5/4 for level 1/2/3/4 weapon.

- Legalized RMT. (As of now 1m zeny is about 30$)

 

I plan to make an Assassin there. But since you can't reset, I'm going to plan my build carefully. I've been playing with the calc and this is what I came up with.

No other Assaulter-like card yet. Was there even Assaulter Card in episode 1? Guess they forgot to take that one out.

- (Acc) 2x School Bag (Aspd +3%) [Kukre for DD/Kobold for Katar]

- (Armor) Chainmail [Picky/Peco/Dokebi/Marc]

- (Garment) Manteau [Whisper/Raydric/Dustiness]

- (Foot) Boots [Matyr]

PecoPeco Hairband and School Bag [1] is sold in Kafra Shop. There's also Academy Badge (combo w/ School Bag), 1st class Figure (Thief Figure, etc), and a bunch of +1~2 stat headgears. The +10 food, Bless/Agi Scroll, and Popping Candy is also sold in Kafra Shop (those and Aspersio Scroll are the only buff items sold in Kafra Shop).
