I see. Just I am about to make a decision whether to purchase Crimson Staff or not, just see its on sale for 900m zeny(thought I could bargain it to be a bit lower than this price, I will see). Of course, if the value of Crimson Staff wont drop, I will make the purchase anyway. If it will devalue quickly after the introduction of the new Oversea Package, I will have to reconsider.

 

And another question, is learning recognized spell 100% necessary for a warlock? This skill itself is useful, but to learn it I will have to go with many useless prerequisite skills such as Drain Life, Stasis, White Imprison and especially Soul Expansion(since it requires lv.3). Adding Release lv.2 instead of lv.1, I will have wasted 7 skill points, while warlock's skill points are very precious and must be spent carefully. Are the benefits of learning recognized spell far outweigh the wasted skill points?

Yes, to get the best damage output  , recognized spell is 100 % necessary  to learn . Also some of those  skills you mentioned are very useful in PVM, so they are not a waste of skill points.

Soul Expansion is by far THE STRONGEST warlock spell.

With the Skill 'Intensification'  (it triples its damage by a short time) and some Elvira cards , Soul Expansion is one of the best warlock spells
