Hello everyone. I came here from this game's so-called spiritual successor because of reasons. Initially, I wanted to check this game out and make myself a chill Bard. However, after some superficial research here, I shrank because I caught wind that Bard isn't exactly the best class for new accounts. I've also read Fuyukikun's leveling guide but apparently that is not the stuff for newbies since the recommended gear there goes around the market for 300m (unless such amount is expected out of new players?).

My point is, can someone hold my hand please? Might require simple numbered steps since I have little of what is considered common sense in this game apparently.

This game common sense revolves around strong cashing, long time playing (grinding) and gambling (RNG) efforts :heh:

Left = Easiest

in between = Mild difficulty

Right = Hardest for ordinary man w/o RNG cult worshipers membership

Actually bard is one of the easiest and cheapest class to level in partying environment due to their favorable buffs, notable and most loved buff called magic strings.

It's good for starter class actually, also If I were you I'll create another account with early wide area offensive skills use like wizard for optimizing early leveling or bringing other future multipurpose wide area offensive party reliant classes like hunter, gunslinger, alchemist, knight, and sage.

Another party support class like priest also not bad to be paired with bard, but you'll be heavily reliant on party leveling w/o good funding on your bard in the long run :heh:

If you think you're a lone wolf person who prefer solo leveling and zeny making with intensive consumables reliant in the long run then assassin is your best bet :heh:

Below are tips to earn in game currency legally based on common sense route above :

EMB exchange for Reset Stone/Magical Stone

Instance Stormtroopers

Brewing Consumables (Potions, Mixed cooking, Special Pharmacy, E.Converters, etc)

Long hour common monster loots farming

Kafra Shop Items reseller
WPE/KP Selling at your own risk

GDIS

Ragial Snipers and Resellers

OCA/MCA Lucky Draw

Gears Refiner / Safe Cert Maker (Eat Gear, Eve Natalia)

MVP Cards Camper

Welcome to the "Terms of Service" Predecessor Game :heh:

The big things you'll need as a party bard are a decent armor/garment and probably a fortune sword for flashing strings, I've got an 85 minstrel that I had set up for WoE but could help you with old school pvm/party bard build

If you need some money early on make a merchant to OC your crap drops from monsters and level your bard in louyang with an npc shop bow and fire arrows, the exp is pretty good all the way up to 99 and the monster loot sells for a decent amount, plus the mantis drop r.elu
