Im doing quests atm on my 120 SC to mass turn in them with BMx. While leveling on completely dead maps I realized how obnoxious the ragnarok PvM is compared to any other hack n slay game thats on the market right now.
I was there when the anti mobbing update came on euRO, I think it was around first half of 2005. What we were told was that player had a negative experience by getting rektrained from big mobs of other player.
I dont think I need to explain that this cause has died 10 years ago. I cant stress enough how annoying it is to gather 3 mobs and after 5-15 sec a mob decides to use an emote and stop to follow.
The fact that a lot of maps are enormous but have so little valueable mobs in them comes on top of it. Might be that 5 years ago enough player were able to generate enough respawn so it wasnt that bad, but these days its just an annoying fun drain and a waste of potential to give people reason to level anywhere else than TI.
I really hope GMs can look into this without begging kRO for their permission because you cant compare iRO to jRO or kRO. Either remove the de aggro "feature" or increase the spawn of mobs in maps that arent your typical 1-99 fast level route, which is mostly infested by bots anyways.
