STOPPED WORKING after entering log in credentials...? HELP!

Hi!. I would like some help. I cannot play due to errors whenever I log in. I cannot pass the log in screen. Can anyone please help me. It says RAGEXE.exe has stopped working.

When did you install the game? Are you using any antivirus/security programs on your system?

I installed it this morning with latest Doram installer. I only have windows defender as my antivirus. I already excluded the entire folder of Gravity from the antivirus.

Did you get the installer from here? Are there any errors or unusual messages in the patch progress bar? 

 

For now try the following:

 

Set the exes Ragexe and Ragnarok to admin levels.

  • Right click the exe file > Choose Properties > Choose Compatibility tab > Choose Run this program as an administrator > Apply > Ok.

If that didn't help set the compatibility mode to Windows XP SP3, the setting is found in the same window where you set the admin levels.

Also make sure Setup.exe is configured accordingly.

 

If things persist please post your OS model and possibly an error log from the system.

Yes I do got the correct installer, but still "RAGEXE.exe has stopped working" persist. Im running win10 64x, amd a8-7600 proci and 16Gb ram. Im so very much desperate to play this game. My email is <snip>@gmail.com.

Let's try this:

  • Clear Internet Explorer Cache folder  [guide Appendix #2 here]
  • Reset Internet Explorer settings [guide here]
  • Force a repatch from the client's release date using patch.inf method, instructions here. Please do not use this patch.inf file if you are using an older client setup.

Double check your running applications, and if something is blocking the game from launching.

Also keep an eye on the patch progress bar.

Please do the following:
  • In File Explorer/Windows Explorer, navigate to the client installation folder1.
  • Enter the following into the search field and then press return:

    extension:(dll OR exe)
  • Select one of the files and then press control-A, control-C.
  • Download and then open HashMyFiles.
  • Press control-V and then wait for the files to be processed.
  • Press control-A, control-S.
  • Save the file anywhere and then upload it to Ge.tt.
  • Include the address of the uploaded copy of the file in a reply to this post.
