So with the implement of the new set (La'Cryma Stick and Pororoca Shoes) i wanted to confirm with you guys if the past set Crimson Rod with NP/NCT cards is obsolete. Like if it's not worth it to have it anymore xD. In my case i'm gonna get the +12 La'Cryma Stick and Pororoca shoes soon but i'm curious to ask in case the old set is useless try to make profit at least from it... try

100% piercing is much more superior than 70~80% piercing.

Mdef works in diminishing returns, wich means the first few mdef numbers give a very high reduction, while increasing mdef will not increase as much the reduction. If the target has lets say 400 mdef and you compare 75% vs 100% piercing, one leaves the enemy with still 100 mdef to calculate your damage, and 100 mdef is still 45% damage reduction.

The closer to 100% you can get, the better.

Still Crimson Rod + MBS for sorcs, unless there will be upcoming jRO shoes that works similar to Pororoca Shoes but specifically designed for Sorc.

Maybe shoes that gives MDEF Pierce by 5% for every known level of Hocus-pocus learned :heh:

Big Ben-Neo Punk Combo for Demon and Formless Races

Nightmare Mimic-Nightmare Arclouse Combo for Brute and Undead Races

GDS for Intensive Demi-human slaying or GAW if you need shield for survivability :heh:

As for the rest, look up here :p_smile:

not surprised with the difference since even @ 90% there will be a large gap with 100%, one reason i am not pleased with MDEF ignore except if i t's 100%.

Has anyone done an analysis of how much more damage you can do with the new Lacryma Stick/Pororoca Shoes combo, as compared to the old Crimson Rod/Temporal Boots combo? Does Lacryma Rod Combo always outshine Crimson Rod Combo in all circumstances? Just wondering.
