Via the previous forums it was stated that the S1 Violent Flame gear is the ultimate. After that the FoC gear exceeds the S2 Violent Flame outfit.

So now I have my set of FoC armour with all items currently at +9 (+30 would be great ...... but impossible to attain ), the question I have is do I enchant it with Ion mine resist xeon (e.g. fire and elec resist) ...... or is there some other thought's out there on the enchanting side of Mystic gear.

While I am also working towards TB jewels (to enchant them with skill crit IM xeons), what is the second best option for jewels in the mean time and what enchants do I put on them?

Your inputs would be greatly appreciated.

i think as caster you dont need tb resistance jewels, just resistance orn, tbf wand + shield and some ion mine resistance in armor will do

other things you could put in armor are normal defense xeons, ion mine short or long range xeons or as good con xeons as you can get

For PVP:


If you want to have a lot of Resistance, and your planning to do PVP. You can use both sets (FOC armor or S2 Violent Flame)
s2 Violent Flame does add a lot of resistance when you reinforce it.. So you only have to concentrate on other Resistance Xeons.
FOC Armor does increase your HP a lot.

So, with a +10 Violent Flame set you will easily reach 80% Fire Resistance (if you also have a +5 Wand+Shield / Staff. and a 'Resistance Power of the infinite, or w/e it is)

About the jewels.. Try to get +15 Reinfoced eximius Earings. They add alot of CON and Skill Critical. Also Reinforced Bracelets and a Reinforced Necklace are a good choice, because they add INT / Skill Critical %

The only TBF Jewels you should get for maxed Resistance is the Belt or the Ring.

Add Ion Mine Skill Critical to every Jewel.

all violent flame is trash in pvp for damage. foc or go naked. just ench diskar with ion mine res xeons and you can max res of w/e you want. dont use any tb jewel, they will make you heal a lot less, so the extra res is pointless as you die faster anyways.

for example sometimes its good to loose some dmg or hp if your armor gives usefull resistance and its increased when reinforced.

i see some zerks using s2 fierce storm over foc because it adds fire resistance which is very usefull for foc, with that set + tbf sword and resist orn fire resist will be capped easy altho you wont as hard with your skill criticals but everyone chooses what they want

and some people like to use them for evasion. just cuz its possibles doesnt make it a good idea. mystic jumped by a sin/zerk is a dead mystic, loaded with res in armor or def

idk dude, even tho i shouldnt mention this guys name since he was obvious botter but Zeka had nice hp like 8k+? and like 1.1k defense and sins/zerks said that its hard to kill him even 1vs1 but ofc he had dmg etc. im just saying that defense is not that useless especially for classes with high hp, and against rangers having about 700-800 defense will lower their dmg by 50%, complete chars usually have about that much defense + good resistances and nice hp

s2 VF doesnt have Skill crit add...so its a poor choice since alot ppl have cap res
