Hello guys,

 

Its been a long time i dont play RO, and the last one i played is the "Classic" one

 

I'm wondering about leveling in this server, specifically for a thief - soon to be Shadow Chaser  

 

I did some googling and found out some suggestions :

1. I could become a VIP & use mercenaries to mob in the VIP-only dungeon  
2. I could do the eden quest to get a set of not-so-bad  equipment

If i go to the first option, is it means that i dont need any good equipment because i could use "Hide" skill when my mercenary do his job?

 

Do you have any other suggestion for me?

 

Note that im not a hardcore player, i only play around 4 hours a week. Considering this, i really need your tips so i could speed up my leveling time.

if you want vip use 1500wpe for buy vip for 1month and free 1500kafra point and u can sell it for zeny..

for leveling u can use mercenary and mob a monster and mercenary kill it.

Yes you can use hide while the mercenary does its job.

 

Do remember to change the mercenary ai to target monsters around it. Otherwise it will only target those mobs that hits you.

 

Eden gears are sufficient till lvl 99, so save your zeny for gears from lvl 100 onwards.

How much zeny could i get from 1500 kafra? What item shoud i sell?

 

And until what level should i rely on the mercenary for leveling? (coz im building a shadow chaser, hard PvM with no aoe skill)

just open pub s>kp and other player will buy anything he want for zeny.

until lv 85 and u can lving in Ti/turn in in npc who called gramps in eden.

you can always use sightless mind for aoe, that's how I level my rogues really fast (spam hide+SM).  It's prereq for intimidate anyway, I assume you'll get

it's not the best aoe ever but it did the job for me when soloing
