So I will be making an extension for Skill Descriptions soon.

 

I would appreciate if the community could come together and collectively think of a template that would suite skill descriptions.

 

And also to double check information retaining to their class and get the wiki up to date so that the information can be easily added.

for those good soul who will be contributing to the template, please include cast delay and casting time having fix and variable separated. thanks

There should be a glossary too, to make sure everyone definitions of cast times, cooldowns and global delays(or any other terms that could be confusing)are the same.

I see no reason why that couldn't be appended to the file called with the /help command, and/or added as a Criatura Academy tutorial NPC.

I was talking about if people are going to help with skills descriptions on irowiki but this is a great idea.

Imo it's more helpfull to be on the /help or a new window interface with basic guidelines of the game. We must admit that ppl tend to smash Enter, so npc talk would come unoticed most of times, even for ppl that want to learn.

I don't actually know if the skill descriptions are lua or text, but it doesn't matter either way, templates can still be generated and put out :U

 

Are there any skills that require 3 direct prerequisites or more?

 

So far the highest number is 4 for Tetra Vortex.

 

As it stands, this will be the proposed layout, please note that sections will only exists if it is applicable to the skill and any variable amounts by skill level will be promptly displayed in the table structure at the bottom of the description.

Skill Name
Flavor Text
Prerequisite: Any prerequisite skills?
Type: Offensive etc...
Max Level: The maximum level of the skill
SP Cost: Will display a flat amount
Fixed CT: Display any fixed casting time
Variable CT: Display any variable casting time
Cast Delay: Display any cast delay time
Cooldown: Display any cooldown time
Duration: How long does it last etc?
Target: Ground etc...
Range: How far away can this skill hit? Will state Short-Ranged, Long-Ranged (Cell Count), Magical
Property: Does this skill have a enforced property
Mount: Does this skill require a mount?
Level 1: X, Y, Z
Level 2: X, Y, Z
...
Level 10: X, Y, Z

I know I should've gotten into this a long while ago, but I wanna ask: Will ye ask for skill name changes or to confirm those? Because it's still strange to me that skills like Increase AGI are now known as Increase Agility, or Frost Diver as Frost Driver. This is because I still don't have that consensus in order to move all those wiki pages to the corresponding names.

Also, the skill with the highest number of direct prerequisites is Bowling Bash as far as I know, with 5.
