but im not giving up my tuna skills for that :'(
I keep feeling tempted to break away from that, especially for the 50% MDEF ignore, but the Tuna Party skill is just so nice.

How does SV Stem Spear autocast from CN Meteor?
1. Is the chance 100%?
2. If 100% chance, does it occur for every hit? or Does it occur more than once per monster per CN meteor?
3. What is the element of SV Stem Spear autocasted? (my guess is just neutral but need confirmation)

just did a little testing on firelock soldiers:
1. It didn't proc at 100% maybe due to the short window. The window is small I'm guessing within the first 2-3 seconds of CN meteor going off. It does proc quite often tho.
2. Yes every hit. I've had it hit a single monster twice. Also had it proc from melee attacks when I was position bugged.
3. Your guess is probably correct.
Without the Shining branch the stem spears are kindof weak so its not something to rely on from my experience so far. And if your going that route you're probably not going to be casting CN meteor to kill whatever it is.
Update: it seems to proc on any hit close or ranged.
Update 2: im defaulting 2 branches right now rather than the meteor accs because meteor is strong for whatever im killing at level 104 and stem spear procs A LOT on hits.

What exactly is 50% mdef ignore?
Nyang Grass, reduce 50% DEF and MDEF from monsters and 100% from players

Thanks for the info, this opens new option for me. Magic summoner without actually using the set, only the SV stem accessories prolonging CN meteors cast time could also be an option.

you get the speed pot effect casting any skill including the buffs. also it has taken out mobs when CNM missed due to position lag. i guess it can be used for crowd control or a barrier between stem spears.

We haven't seen a 175 magic doram with a good elegant set yet in action yet so its hard to tell. I guess they can be pretty good emp protectors or used as a aoe. Dropping nyang grass then meteor on top of the 7x7 would be pretty strong and if anyone tries to attack from outside they get stem speared. We also have to wait and see how good stem spear is on its own with a yellow magic foxtail.

Don't have to wait, I did make a calc after all :X

One thing is you probably don't have to carry that many speed pots hehe.
