IGN- xLordsesshomaru (was Lordsesshomaru before the servers merged)

 

Yesterday I was sitting in the normal Paragon spot and was thinking to myself, what can I do more for the game than just sit here and look cool?

 

OH! so I took the ship to adventure plains and waited in the new spawn area waiting for new characters to join the game.

 

I would ask the people that just logged in if they were new or an old player to the game, if they were an old player, I would just say welcome and leave it at that.

 

But if they said they were new to the game, I would generously help them by giving them 100,000 to start out (because god knows this game is insane with its currency right now, 1B is like nothing)

I would also tell them exactly what to do, by talking to the fairy, then talk to the chief, kill jelly's, choropys, plants, bees, pumpkins and help them decide their first class choice.

 

Let's face it, there's clans and high-level players that sit at the adventure plains and just sit and look cool. that's so boring, what's really sweet is that a high level helps new players to the game so they just don't get to level 8 and be done with the game, last night, with 1 hour spent, I was able to recruit one of my members to help buff and get the player to level 40. I felt great in what I did, I'm trying to expand the game 1 at a time, and hope that they stick around for the long hull.

Let's face it. the game is ... not in the best place, so what I'm doing is trying to encourage people to stay and play the game.

 

It's truly discouraging to see a new player come to the game and having no clue what to do, how the controls work, and be sent out alone in this game because parties do not exist anymore.

 

Anyways if you see me with noobs, it's because of this purpose. hope i encourage someone to do the same. as we all need new players to join our community.

The clans of high level players who are sitting in Adv Plains do that because when you que for the Game Arena, you will respawn back where you were when you first entered the instance.  Adv Plains is much less laggy than somewhere like Junon Polis with all of the shops and people. I know for a fact that they will gladly buff a newbie if they are asked or answer quesions. They might very well "look cool", but that's not their reason for being there. Trust me, when someone wants to show off, they will do it in Junon Polis, where a lot of other high level people will see them.

 

Anyway, as someone who does my fair share of helping new players as well as returning players who feel like newbies, I applaud your efforts.  Not sure a topic was needed to announce it but I'm sure your intentions were good.
