Cylinder Hairband - Update 2

After testing the proposed changes on Sakray the new bonuses on the item will be as follows

 

+7 600% (total)

 

+5 300% (total)

 

100%(total)

 

On average 600% will increase most players (users seen in testing) somewhere around 57-62% 

300% will increase 27-32%

100% will increase 8-12%

Please note that this item may need to be rebalanced should there ever be a change to the skill's formula (as far as I know none is planned)

Tested that personally and it's reaaaaally strong. It's about the same as promised.

Will this not also have to be done to the bio 5 headgear as well? Just thinking ahead.

This will make for some interesting changes. Bear's Power will be more relevant than Runaway Magic, and 120 STR may become en vogue again (even though I think it already should have been.)

If it works well i'm all for it. Sorry for salt boss, its just a lot of these happening recently, and with new gears everyone would appreciate good stuff coming on that works properly <3

This was my concern also.

I feel like this band aid is just going to cause a domino effect. Even if it doesn't, players are going to expect other items to get the same treatment to be fair.
This is a terrible decision imo and will open a gateway to more bad things. All I can think of is using chewing gum to plug a leak.

Sea Captain's Hat has similar issue to the Cylinder band, as do Ninja Charms and Harvester Hat. 

Harvester hat we can fix this maintenance in the same manner.

I think making it 600% was yeah, but only because a 60% multiplier would have only increased the base damage of working as intended, however this bandaid fix is what will be done with other items as well. It will be a case of testing things and applying relative additions where applicable or using substitute balances to compensate. It's a shame but in all honestly, a TS member summed it up nicely in that he believes that kRO doesn't actually know how it's own formulas work, and I have to agree.

Yeah, I do think kRO is a bit out of touch with their own formulas.
I also believe they are lazy and only listen to us because we complain the loudest.

The Sea Captain's Hat is even more bizarre... since half of it works fine and the skill formula isn't really weird like cart cannon.
