KRO dev team plan to improve some of runestone within this Spring, to increase diversity of runestone usage and increase the convenience.

 

1. Turisus Runestone

Reduce amplified bonus damage when dealing normal attack from 300% to 200%. But add an additional increase atk-based physical damage by 250% instead. (Rhydo runestone won't benefit from this bonus)

2. Asir Runestone

Improve effect

old : Increase Atk by 7 per 1 party member, party member receive 1/4 of this bonus.

new : Atk + 70, add an additional Atk by 7 per 1 party member, party members receive 1/2 of this bonus.

E.G. : If there are 12 party members. User will receive (70 + (7 x 12)) = 154 Atk, while party members receive 154/2 = 77 Atk.

3. Pertz Runestone

Changes factor in formula from Int to Str.

4. Remove limit of Turisus runestone, Asir runestone and Pertz runestone amount that can be hold, while increase limit of other runestones amount that can be hold to 60.

Nice update and finally Pertz formula will be based on Str BUT DAMN at least reduce the weight of runestones to 5 instead 10  :p_ang:

So if you Lux Anima Turisus for a GX now you effectivelly give them a 1min almost Frenzy damage buff,with 2x damage procs, still free to frenzy :v

Any news on maybe increasing the amount of ancilla's for AB?? Healing 15% max SP is not as ridiculous as these rune buffs. SURELY.......

This patch has been implemented to Sakray. Turisus runestone was nerfed a bit. Additional dmg has been reduced to 125% in PVP and WoE.

2.5x increase physical damage?? are skills affected too? like Ignition Break & Hundred Spear?
If it is, 1.25x increase in PVP/WoE makes sense.

Overall though very nice update albeit very late. After 7 years, kRO only realized now stupid runes were before.

No they still haven't realize how ridiculous runes are. Ridiculous in a sense that they have reuse cool down, interruptible and has weights.

 

I do like the increase on amount held of the runes and as well as the formula change for Pertz.If this ever came here I'll make a RK for low TI just storm blasting the shiz out of those monsters using Peuz set.

What is the name of this update. Is it like 16.3 or something, some title, just so i know how to address this in the future instead of 'The Rune Update'.

It is a minor update so there is no specific numbering. It is a part of their spring update of 2017.

I wonder if Turisus Runestone still breaks weapon or not?
