The attack speed values are...fair actually. Good compensation for lag affecting chain combos. Priests just run Chain Combo off mostly so not too harsh also. Destroyer and Summoner might take a hit however.

Though I understand 400 movement speed was the safest yet highest you could go. I'll brace myself and make necessary alterations when I get home.

As Alteris stated in the video statement there the team has decided against a soft cap.

can we consider  increase the damage for invoker at pvp (Damage is reduced up to 70% in PvP on double shot)

but reduce the critical damage to 500%?

the other x class got 500% theres no reason to invoker have 600%

If the F7 movement speed is affected by the cap it must be looked into and fixed. In that case please let me know.

It's hard to say whether or not it'll be. Depends on the nature of how the cap affects buffs.

It's sadly not that easy at all. As you know because I often mentioned the code is very messy at several locations. So just please let me know and I'll fix it - also I will check it on my own tomorrow. But if you find it out faster I just go and fix it. :)

I'm not even at the cap level for either of those but I still shoot faster with X  than my invoker can do reign of fire, spark rock or other skills making them not as useful. Which means it's faster just to only use X than to even bother using any other skills making it kind of pointless to have them.

Also the pets need to be faster at picking up items after kills because they can't keep up with the characters.

In my opinion - and I only play invoker - it highly depends on how you WANT to play that class. I use many of these skills for getting SSS ranks in missions as well as getting all the game experience. I have to admit that I usually play PvE and not PvP. And I am no rusher. I play all quests and all missions and all dungeons. I play dailies and I am not standing around in F7 the whole day. I want the full experience of this game and this is the reason why my playing style is also adjusted to get the most gaming experience out of that class.

Means all classes have the same speed at the end-game? Sorcerer as fast as Sentinel? Dragoons as fast as Ninja? And all Ninja buffs will be useless since they push you beyond the hard cap? Now, thats stupid and will probably cause a huge imbalance in pvp.

Why should i even bother to skill ms skills now, or to switch in ninja form if the ms is still the same.

Melle classes like Ninjas are used to ouplay their enemy by being a bit faster because they are already not as high on HP and have close ranged skills. With this hardcap you pretty much boosted all Invoker, Sorcerer, Dragoons and Summoner in PvP. And 3 of those classes mentioned are already the top op classes.

On the other hand players of classes which have a skill for increasing speeds could invest in upgrading other stats instead of stacking movement/attack speed that high. We'll see what happens.

I use the chain lightning to get the sss rank too but it takes soooooo much longer to do it. There isn't a dungeon like that lets you get the sss normally once you hit 85. I also PvE. I don't like PvP anyway. My character wasn't set up that way and well, I just don't like it. I'm stuck farming stuff now to buff my character up since I'm still weak at 85 than a lot of others. There are so many different items now that it's hard to pick the right stuff.

I think the set values are pretty fair to be honest. If the game is technically limited to 400 MS, it is limited to 400 MS. Since it are technical limitations there is nothing that can be done, watch the video. Even Alteris explains that fact in detail.

Btw, shouldn't those "nasty" (as you BSQ guys use to call them a lot) bothering BSQ runners now be a problem of the past? :p_smile:

Its not about investing in other stats. Thats the most easy part, every class who reached 400ms will invest in HP now.

The problem is that you boosted the classes who are used to be slower than the others. Like Invoker, Summoner, Sorcerer, Dragoon.

Invoker, Summy, Sorcerer, DK are all 3 tanky, 2 of them have high DPS and all have healing abilities. The way to outplay them was to be faster than those. Now those classes will just chase you to death. DK will just overrun you with its superarmor and you wont be able to escape CrossCut and you wont be able to escape the knockback chaincombo stun of both warrior classes.

Ninja for example got a huge nerf by this, by losing 3 buffs which are now pretty useless. Ninja Frenzy, Rapid Steps, Dodge Mastery.

Archer classes lost pretty much 2 skills, and Overlord also 1 buff, since you hit the 400ms cap easy without those.

All that classes are used to be faster than the others by sacrificing other stuff like range attacks, hp, dps, healing abilities.

In my opinion they're not useless, because the advantage is that ms/as can be "stacked" lower than for every other class which makes "room" for other stats.

As stated by Alteris in the video (and also by me previously) we have no way to go over these amounts. For everything else: time will tell. As said in the video, class balances follow. But we can only do one thing at a time.

What is most likely going to happen is that since 300 % AS is pretty high for a cap we'll see everyone investing into AS since it is pretty convinient for PvP, especially for certain classes.

I don't think there is any nerf or buff with those caps, the meta will just turn into HLT/AS and maybe Final C.Rate

As it has been said we'll see how it turns out. There's no actual loss in term of skills. But some people might have to invest for a whole new gear.

while i agree on most of the changes done here as a balancing issue, the only question is the invoker since its already nerfed for pvp and taking away its AS its getting weaker and weaker for pve i dont see an issue but for pvp purposses like emporia its badly handicapped. i saw somebody say earlier stating about maybe taking out the attack drop and reducing the crit dmg cap to compensate i saw it as a good idea, but im not nitpicking its just a suggestion.

thanks :D

Please notice that the so-called x-spammer classes are capped to 270% AS.

there arent so good IM items that would be a good trade for the MS that Ninja lost. Even if you could trade that MS in 50k more hp, at endgame the first catch counts.

And i thought you guys wanted to make more room for new content with items that provide better stats? How can you provide this with a hard cap? Which is already reached now very easy.

In my opinion you should have set a softcap way lower than 400 to offer more room for new items etc..

Even if we would have decided to implement a soft cap (which is not the case and not a point of discussion anymore) there always would have been an additional hard cap at the exact same values.

Do these maintenances  ever accidentally delete stuff? For example, my couple is no longer married for some reason. I'm not sure when it happened but I did notice it not long ago but there hasn't been anyone able to answer my question in game. We're still a couple but no longer show married.

I heard of this issue rarely, but it's not happening because of the maintenance. It seems to be the same issue as for the "With the power of love" buff falling down to Lv. 1
