Does Expiatio pierce Boss monster def? Does it work with melee skills such as Rolling cutter and Ignition break instead normal physical attack?

Works on bosses, and works on any physical attack

As Ash has said. I Believe its also stacks with any piercing effects, such as big bell and other 50% hdef pierce. It is basically 1/4 a samurai card.

i think the description on the buff icon is wrong, its not a chance because it works 100% of the time >.<

Yeah the icon is weird :v

Also note on what marty said, it stacks additively with any other partial def pierce you may have. So big bell combo+ expiato lv5= 75% ignore.

It's actually a good skill, but has too few applications. If it added mdef ignore as well then it would be perfect.

I had it in my head that it was both DEF and MDEF.  Damn you, shoddy memory.

What happens if you stack this with Lex?

What relation does it have with lex '-' one will affect the def calculation of the damage, lex will double whatever damage you do
