Start in Hugel!

 

 

 

Here we find O'Reily and he needs our help! He had a fallout with his sister and asks us to help her. 

 

Head over to the 2nd floor of the Hugel inn. Here we meet Widow Thon and her son Baal Peter Thon.

 

  

 

Tell her you can help, and she will ask to you to examine her son. We are clueless so we need to find Nurse Anna. 

 

Head outside to the Hugel Grocery store. (Right above O'Riley)

 

 

Tell her you are here for Thon and she will recommend you approach him with an  Egg Shell in your inventory. 

 

After you talk to Thon with the Egg Shell in your inventory, he will teleport you to a map of Hugel full of monsters.

 

First off talk to O Riley first. This is very important. This part of the quest is very wonky..

 

 

 

 

Head north, here we meet Fae. He needs us to give him a  Batcage.

 

 

 

Next is a Fae on the bridge. He needs one  Ectoplasm. 

 

 

 

 

Finally the Fae under the airship. He needs one  Piece of Black Cloth. 

 

 

 

After talking to the three, go back to O'Riley. Tell him that you know that he knows the fae. He tells us that all we need to do is give one piece of  Iron to Thon and he will be reverted to normal.

 

 

 

If you don't get the option to say I know you know the fae, try turning one of the items above back in then go talk to O'Riley again.

 

 

Thon is healed and we get our reward:

 

[Named] St. Patrick's Hat & 50 Green Ales.

 

 

 

 

The quest is NOT repeatable.

There is no order to the Fae in the shadow Hugel.

Technically you just need to turn in 3 items then O Reily will let you know about the iron.

Ok...I died in the Shadow Hugel part, and can see no way of returning since the NPC's wont talk to me.  Quest broken or failed?

Dunno. Was expecting the 50% will finally work upon activation of this event.

I also thought that the green ales would have their 50% restore enabled during the event

<snip> people trying to figure this out get shut out. so ridiculous. this guide sent me straight to a bugged oreily who teleported me to prontera where i can no longer finish the quest because little old fae never shows up

I died in the shadow hugel realm and now can't talk to any of the event npc, will get fixed soon?

This also happened to me after asking O'Riley to warp me back to Prontera. I can't get back in.

 

Edit: Wait next restart, does that mean next Thursday? Because the event might as well be over by then.

I went there with high lvl and survived got the reward the big problem is you guys need to turn in to Fae with 3 one of the Item

Ectoplasm, Piece of Black Cloth, and Bat Wing Caged (talk to Fae 3 times same place)

After that Talk To O'riley and trigger the last option "you know Fae" and the last part is Iron which is drop from Firelock Soldier is must have before going out from Shadow Hugel and back to Hugel to the kid for Reward

The hat come without a slot, is that correct?

 

I just realized, doesn't having the player name on an equipment eat up its slot because RO is weird that way? I wonder if this was intentional to make the hat non slotted.

Thank you!! I don't think I'm high enough yet to survive there, I'm working on leveling another character, but what level were you?

 

Edit: I was able to do it with a level 81 hunter and 130+ white potions. I'm not sure exactly what happened with the fae, I talked to the first one once and then the second one on the bridge twice (who told me the about the "knowing" the second time) and then the airship one wouldn't talk to me so I assumed I was done with the fae part, went back to O'Riley and it let me progress in the quest so I'm guessing I was.
