well if this helps any, the problem seems to occur only while going through warps/teleports etc. If you are standing still doing nothing and not changing areas it seems to be fine. so i guess the only ones still online right now are merchants and slackers? probably
no, both of our merches are disconnected

This. Look at the spike in population over this weekend compared to the weekends prior to it (ROPD link: https://ropd.info/?mode=spop).
Bots everywhere I went in-game this weekend.
Well, In Indonesia there is a new Server called Ragnarok Gravindo, but it's sucks. I mean... SUCKS. A lot of my friends who played there moved here to iRO. So I think that's a factor as well.

it took quite a while for my merchants to go down. so i assumed standing still not changing zones was fine . but it just took some time to kick in. now were all screwed

Good news is the game DB is as far as we can tell saving progress for users who can connect. Were still trying to figure out why chaos is causing such... chaos.
