Maybe the other things just get their own event?

However, maybe I finally become the proud owner of a Heirloom Bone Claw this year. :p_smile:

Thanks a lot for the enchant/soulcraft event. This does help a lot.

May I ask if the "get my point" quest will be available for this event too?

I'd make a guess that player's over the cap that receive a mspd debuff don't feel it cause it subtracts from the surplus? (kinda neat mechanic tbh)

ie. players with 475 mspd hit with a woodrush with a -50% mspd debuff will still be at the 400mspd cap.

Exactly. The other items will come in their own event, but first we have Easter Blossom Event.

As for your question, we missed to mention this in the notes:

"Get my Point" and "Scroll down a bit!" are available during the current event.

Edit: Also we have added a Basketball Costume Box - You can get it for 5 Strange Looking Smiley Posters and it randomly contains a part of the Blue or White Basketball Set. It was a last minute update.

I can post a screenshot of the wing when the game is up again, Wing is IM

The heirloom stuff is rather old gear - not available for Dragokin classes due to the fact that these items are from the times the Dragokin classes weren't existing. It's a bit of nostalgia

Yes, they have been just added to the event for fun.

Due to technical issues we stay at game version 10.1.0.14 for this week, that means that the following fixes are delayed until next week:

  • The AS/MS cap formula has been fixed
  • A bug has been fixed which prevents players from using Galaxia Dungeon Coins at the end result screen when not being in a party

These fixes will come in with next week's maintenance.

Server is back online.

Please patch your game to version 0.5.56.

Client stays at version 10.1.0.14 for now.

We will try to get the missing fixes in as soon as possible.

There is a high chance that this will happen tomorrow.

Thank you for your patience!

Well neat stuff. I dunno if it would've been a bad thing that going over the limit on ms would have worked as a buffer for ms debuffs, but then again 400 ms is still pretty high so it's good that it can be reduced properly.

Free sp gimmi.

The system requirements the game needs have changed since Arcadia. There are more graphics and content in the game now. So the game needs a lot more Computer RAM and Graphics RAM. The first are the RAM block of your computer, the second is the RAM your graphics card comes with.

If either of those is too low, you will encounter what you describe - missing floors, textures, jump pads not visible etc.

The system requirements posted on Steam and on the game page are outdated since years and are no indication at all that the game runs on your computer. The actual requirements are much higher, add about at least 1 GB RAM to the posted system requirements and I'm about sure the graphics card requirements posted there are outdated too. The problem in itself is computer hardware based and on the user side.

I should mention that DCs can be based on too low RAM/graphics card RAM too. Especially if you move around a lot in the game and visit a lot of different areas.

Solution is as simple as expensive, get either more computer RAM or a graphics card with more video RAM. Or both, in the case both of your hardware components are outdated.

Expect the game eating up even more computer RAM and graphics card RAM once they add in more content for Arcadia part 2.

You're wrong, it's not about the RAM.

I played a lot around 2013-2014 on the European servers before it closed, and at that time the game had a "memory leak" : over the time it would consume more and more RAM and not release it, and after a few hours (more if you change maps a lot) you reach the 2GB limit imposed on 32bits program, and the game would crash.
There was an unofficial patch going around to activate "PAE", which would allow Dragonica to go up to 3GB of used RAM, which would make the crash happen much later.

Now I've picked up the game again on Warpportal's version, and that memory leak seems to be gone, never had that crash, even though I had the game opened for 10+ hours, and I checked the Task Mananger, the process doesn't reach 1GB, it's like 850~950MB of RAM usage. So we're far from a RAM-hungry game.

As for the graphics RAM, for me it's not "sometimes the floor is disappearing, but instead it's systematically disappearing in the Hidden Zone "Secret Lava Cave", along with several other graphics bugs (for example : mushrooms growing on my pet, giant spider webs popping around, etc.)
My desktop computer has a AMD RX470 with 8GB of GDDR5, so 8GB VRAM is not enough ? seriously ?
I heavily doubt (but never say never) than anyone with a GPU with more memory is playing this game (the only GPU with more VRAM are Nvidia's just released 1080Ti, 11GB VRAM for 700$, and the bit older Titan X for way too much money).

First of all it's called LAA not PAE - Large Address Awareness. However this tool is not necessary anymore since LAA is already activated by default yet. Physical Address Extension is the hardware based technique while Large Address Awareness is the flag used in the Windows Operation System to make PAE possible for 32-bit applications.

If portals/textures/objects are missing from the beginning there might be a patching error. If these things disappear after time some kind of RAM is full and the game gets out of Memory errors - or - you use an Intel I7 of an older generation which has problems with enabled hyperthreading when playing older games (more regarding this issue can by found by using google search).

The game can use up to 2GB+ RAM in some specific situations when playing for hours and changing areas often especially to areas with a lot of players/monsters.

The 2GB+ problem is not a problem since Arcadia, the problem started especially with the introduction of the New Origin update.
