Baphomet card effect is a "skill' that deals damage on a 3x3 area around the user for 100% of it's attack. It doesnt depends on the target received damage. It doesn't carry on crits, nor double attack nor proc skills, but can proc gear effects(like, doesnt proc CD but procs Faceworm/eddga transformation)

It does carry crit and double attack ash, just not in red/yellow numbers. It has an independent roll on crit at DA but 100% crit rate on a monster would make splash crit always as well. That was in pRO when i tested it, shouldnt be different here. arghh should have tested spell fist there

You can see it by the obvious damage difference as well on the main target receivinig the crits and the monsters hit by the splash.
Gunslingers with shotguns are a very easy way to see this, as shotguns have innate baphomet effect

I'll look for vids here also since it's hard to believe when i've experience it myself.. ugh it would be frustrating if it didnt carry crits and DA rolls here.
EDIT: Who knows who the owner of the AB here named ++Alice++? I think he is a bapho hoarder and has some info/secrets on this

Or,
You can slap yours in staff, test it, and if it fail, you can desocket it

I'm curious about this for a long time too. Although I don't really believe it can carry Spell Fist effect, I would like to see the test

i would have done it if it was possible to desocket weapon

It does not work. Spell Fist takes priority before the Baphomet cards splash damage effect, If you had Baphoment Carded weapon and Activated Spell Fist, then go to hit the target, Spell Fist is used but there will be no splash damage. From this we can learn that Spell Fist acts as an active skill even when already converged onto your sorcerer's melee attack.
I have however, tested this years ago, things may have silently changed without knowing, and anyone with a spare Bapho card would do well to sacrifice themselves for the greater good of us all by checking it out for us.

Except that it procs all kinds of other things that proc from regular attacks and not active skills, so that's a really misleading thing to say.
Examples:
-Bolts from Hindsight
-Bolts from level 3 elemental spirits
-Hell's Judgement from Ledger of Death

It's an auto attack enhacer, prety much like Crush Strike or Exceed Break.

What i am very bothered with right now is that why does iROs baphomet card work differently? Have there been a nerfed or perhaps a buff that iRO havent recieved regarding bapho?

Only cheap thing I could think of to test would be Leo Diadem, chance to proc splash attack damage.
Splash damage appears to match my non-Spell Fist melee damage of around 200.
Not a decisive test of how Bapho card would work, but gives weight to the theory that Spell Fist effect wouldn't carry over to the splash damage.

I don't know about Succubus pet, but I saw Agni lvl 1
If you using the same gear on your screenshot, I think it still can be higher. NAM, Nightmare Verit Temp INT Boots, just some of them

Gear in screenshot was just to help tank while I waited for the Diadem to proc, I use Temporal Int (Lucky Day), NAM HBP, Weakened Fenrir mid, Red Lichtern Night Cap when leveling.

It works, i tested it, i was doing 180k spellfist dmg on fire eggs, i was using the new rings, +9MNC, lacryma and pororocca for omre water dmg, then i went to drake and i do a lot less hahahahaha xD, i can deal like 80k to 90k without dark claw tho. (not in heavy mdef users, the dmg drops quite dramatically, i was doing with the same gear 22 to 30k on drake.
