Ifrit slaughtered us in ET for 2x already. im thinking if Neutral Barrier(NB) can block Earthquake(EQ). i read in Irowiki that NB cant block EQ but i read somewhere else that it  can, as long as people inside NB are more than 3 cells from Ifrit. my questions are

 

1. Can NB block EQ, based on your experiences?

2. if it can, is the damage still divided to all characters in range even those inside NB?

3. if no, are neutral/long range reduction gears the only thing we can depend against ifrit?

 

please share your strategy too ) we finally reached Ifrit and it is thrilling to finally kill him ehehe.

 

our team is Sura x2, Gene x2, ABx1.  and we can deal lots of damage but there is a point where he EQ after another EQ, many times .

if mechanic will be ok we plan to go Surax2, Mechanic,, Gene, AB, usually 99-125 chars only ehehe.

2. Is divided by the number of ppl in teh skill range, regardless they be taking damage or not(gtb, etc)
3. EQ ignores all reduction cards. Ghostring works because the skill can't void the element check, and neutral deals 70% damage against Ghost1.

The AB could just stay out of EQ range. Close enough to see and res the genes at the edge of the window but not close enough to see ifrit. Ifrit should not be killing your suras as long as they're fcp'd and potting/seeds/green ales. Think ifrit activates EQ every 30/40 secs after the first one. I'd use devi/immune garment, fire armor and alice shield.
