what armor do you default now for pvm with your gene? I sold off my vana because I got a hold of a cylinder HB. now I was trying to get atleast +8 on my Evil Dragon armor so I could still have HP/SP leeching while leveling after wasting around 300HD elus I got it back to +7 :|

 

so till the next enriched event comes what would be a good leveling armor for a gene?(I used porcello orlean's gown before)

 

I don't have any leeching gears as well I sold of my bloodsucker I guess I need to wait till I get to 120 for a Malicious Thana Hammer(Does that provide enough leeching in your experience?)

 

offtopic: I searched for the last event and it just ended recently so I guess I need to wait for a while but I just wanted to ask during the enriched event do I still follow this?

+1-+4 = regular elu

+4-+7 = safe to 7 certs + regular elu

+8-+9 = enriched elu

+9-+10 = HD elu or safe to 10

 

because I noticed on the enriched table that +4-+7 refines have increased rates so can I start with +4 gears during the refine event(without breaking) or no?

PS. sorry If I'm trying to clarify this is my first time actually upgrading gears for myself

I default Bryn, but elemental tights seem to be a nice option. Other than that, just elemental armors.

Hey, no problem man; I am literally in the same boat as you for my Genie. Just got her there. Lucky you though, getting a CHB. For leveling though I've just been using an Antares Meteo!

Get Sera homun, pain killer makes most mobs a joke so decrease in leeching wont hurt so much

Evil Dragon armor is meh. Incubus pet, hp leech shadow, and tengu set is enough hp/sp leech for me.

 

I default elemental tight sets or the elemental specific +%damage armors (s. warter armor w/ +10% damage to water monsters ect).

I usully bring a few armors with me while running around but my main default is Abbys Anti magic suit, other armors are unfrozen fire,water,wind and bryn of course =P

ebone armor with pest card or sasquatch card at least +7 ebone armor. huge def and stone curse or freeze status.

same here...evil dragon armor??meh...better use elemental tights..can put any element card inside...else using bryn or any element armor....this day to much leech gear...n cylinder HB reduce ur sp consumption CC....!!tengu set also can leech + increase ur demage at same time...malicious set if u planning for CC all the way LOL...

In the end, are elemental tights better than Hero Trade Mail? My guess is yes, but since the price of HTM is so much higher, I wanted to confirm.

I'm on the same boat as OP, I just got an +8 Evil dragon armor that I'm making the default leveling armor for my 146 Gene and I'm thinking about what (non MVP/miniboss)card to slot and all I can think is Porcelio for obvious reasons (what I've been using), Peco for hp pool since leech is the point of the armor or maybe some elemental but not sure which one since I'm not so sure where I'm gonna level after my 3 year break from RO.

+7% ranged damage. Card them with whatever will help you out the most.
