My wife did a rebirth yesterday, and is now a 56 Biochemist. Her homunculus is level 93. We have read around that you need to switch to homunculus S at 99, or else you lose out on stats. My wife is now concerned that she wont be able to get to Geneticist before it hits 100, but also sort of relies on the homunculus to level, so cant just put it away.

Is she really going to lose out in the end if it is over level 99? And if so, is there any way, other than just packing it away, to stop it from gaining experience, but still help leveling? Thanks.

Homunculus level is capped at your class. The things can't go beyond 99 if you're NOT a Genetic. What happens if she keeps leveling him after 99 (as a Biochemist) it's that the EXP will stack and once it becomes a homunculus S and kills something, it will come all at once. I think my Eleanor became 102 after killing a Dustiness because I spent so much time leveling the previously form.
