I closed my tab and when I returned to start the game, the browser/server doesn't remember my progress. The character I was using was gone and I had to start from scratch. Is this intended? Does closing your tab directly delete all your progress? Also, I've noticed that the characters aren't tied to any of my WP account. I have the same characters regardless of which WP account is currently logged in.

Same happened to me... I guess i dont' mind starting over but i dont want it to happen again =/ waste of time if it does...

I realized this was a pretty dumb mistake. I didn't know the "zones" were actually different servers. I found my "lost" character on another server. Oh well.
