Haven't paid a ton of attention to this class in a while, but now with the verus gear, I've decided to revisit.  I've heard that the set gear is actually inferior to temporal dex boots w/HE and a FAW but where to go besides that?  What would be prioritized, after cast delay with HWHB and such, or ranged damage gear?  

 

Going to eventually try to get my hands on Rock Step/Kick Step Combo but that could take some doing.

In headgear, I'm leaning towards HWHB instead of damage modifiers like EMH. Combine it with 2 Supp. Accessories and you have ton of after cast delay reduction.  A palace guard cap is situational and only really needed when you are tanking so there's that. 

I believe HE is better for KB, and BP is better for AC since there is no dex modifier in AC damage calc. But yeah, generally T. Dex+FAW > Upgrade Part Set

IMO the kick step isn't really needed since it limits your armor to just 4 elements :v

Rock Step/Kick Step Combo very useful for WoE/PVP cause you cant die With 9.99x10^9999 damage Arrow storm and physical ranged type doram but not much in MVPing Cause youll need Other elements such as undead shadow and holy when soloing and mostly mvp are melee type. Also the combo cancels Use of mado fuel. Go for Knuckle boost type, you can reach 100k damage with proper gears such as menblat faw, eddgahat and a must 2 pcs upgrade gun barrel and temporal dex hawkeye enchant. Hawkeye is good because if it procs it will let your arm cannon and knuckle boost no cast.

I am personally enjoying the upgrade set. 

I do not have temp dex/str boots nor do I own a shooter faw. I wouldn't doubt that the FAW and temp boots would be better in overall damage per shot.

 

The current set I am looking into getting is something like this:

 

+9 upgrade plate - reduce damage from small and medium monsters by 15% and large monsters by 20%

 

+9 upgrade engine <menblatt/raydric or DR> - Cast delay (after-cast delay) -20%  and reduces neutral property attacks by 10% 

 

+9 upgrade booster - reduces the sp cost of hover by 20 and acceleration by 15 (not particularly useful, but +9 for firelock)

 

+10 or higher pilebunker s - Cast delay (after-cast delay) -1% every two upgrades. (Putting a rock step in this would give 20% arm cannon damage and additional 20% at +10)

 

+9 or higher immune shield <hodremlin> - just decent all around shield

 

(2x) Upgrade gun barrel - 8% attack, 25-50% knuckle boost damage. Put in 2 darklord essence force 3 or concentration 3 for the best acc "cards" or gold scaraba.

Enchantments on engine and booster is just like enchanting sarah earrings. Youre so lucky if you can get max enchant ea/sp on those considering you can only get 5 components per run. Well, Upgrade set will maybe on par on faw and temporal depending on the enchants of the engine and booster.

Gunbarrel can get spell enchant too.
