Loved classic Ragnarok. Was excited to hear of this new web based RO with a fresh start. Been playing for like an hour now. Level 50 on basically auto pilot the entire way. Its cute and nostalgic to watch my character, but when and does it even get more strategic? Like when does it become beneficial to not auto pilot chain quest?
Does the game become more immersive, difficult, and classic or is what I see now what I get?

What you see is what you get
Basically you just farm for cards and other stuff
Do daily events + daily dungeon for EXP
I think the only strategic thing here is WoE and building your character for Clocktower, GH as a free to play. Wrong stats and skills could hurt in those places.

Yeah those Map deals a lot of dmg one wrong move and you'll be killed

for some reason this is a good game to play, even if we are busy at some things, our character levels ahaha. and everything was on auto mode i guess if your more of a pvp player yeah you need to load up to get good gears

well, it's worth playing in a fairest answer. Yeah it has that p2w every game economy has but lots of people played it for free. I played iRO for free and built new friendships and even made my character stronger without paying. Cuz that's how the classic gameplay was.

You can be f2p player. Just press A button and Alt-Tab , go play another better games.
You can be a F2P player but still earn a lot of diamonds in-game. Just farm what is hot on market and you will be rewarded even if you don't pay.
