Yup, more likely Ward. VIP players get it for free. Aside from that, changing to new Lighthalzen hairstyles will no longer require you a Kafra Hairstyle coupon (Note: Change Hair Ingredients are still needed), if you're VIP. Time to get that Free Change Cart Skill in Eden.

That doesn't change anything. Like honestly? These boxes have been doing a lot of good by putting use to other classes and giving clearer power choices for other classes without breaking them.

Executioner shoes doesn't do that, it redefines a class, invalidates billions in spending from some people, it requires you to overhaul your skills, replaces an MvP card, reduces the entire cast time of a skill, increases max hp/sp, and is an item that is completely dependent on RNG to obtain, and you can then buy it for 1b later. That is simply far too much in one singular item.

Executioner shoes doesn't do that, it redefines a class NO, invalidates billions in spending from some people NO, it requires you to overhaul your skills it's a con, replaces an MvP card NO, replaces icepcik, reduces the entire cast time of a skill CHB says hi, increases max hp/sp ughhh normal, and is an item that is completely dependent on RNG to obtain new to game, and you can then buy it for 1b later. That is simply far too much in one singular item. 

Katar builds needs a serious buff, you'll be mostly playing instance anyway so that item affecting other players is so unlikely. Field PVM/MVP? Gene with CHB says hi, if it can compete with them then good but i doubt. GX on WoE? still meh

Don't talk about CHB I'm still digusted with that headgear, absolutely disgusted. This community knew it was broken and got too attached to it anyway, and then the GMs didn't have enough backbone to fix the damned thing the way it was meant to work.

Like seriously they used to never do that. Remember that day the server accidentally got like ridiculously high in the exp rate because of a big and they rolled everything back despite players losing a lot of work because of it? They cared enough then!

And yes, it does redefine a whole class when RC is suddenly second best to a pre trans skill, and the requirements for the def pierce bonus are never going to be used. All the damage skills for the third job will be nothing compared to MS until bone circlet make CRS broken, but even then MS will be more dps with those boots.


Let's also mention, this does not close the gap between katar and dagger, it only furthers the gap now that people won't need thana or ice pick.

Speaking of which, Ice Pick isn't that much a problem or everyone would be using one for everything. It has a cool effect but it has downsides... There is nothing you give up for these boots that could make them a downside compared to anything other than maybe temp luk boots.

The item has simply far too much power and does not belong on RO. CHB doesn't either as far as I'm concerned unless they FIX the cast time thing. (Yes, it needs ~*fixed*~)

The reality was the CHB had nothing to fix at all, 100% variable reduction to CC is a natural part of the hairband, but the real issue was that people perceptions of the damage buff of CC was not the same as what it really was implying.
Rather than say its the responsibility of the GM's that screwed it up by getting pressured by nearly half the entire forumbase, I would give them a good pat on the back for having the guts for making this ridiculous buff so you can all see the actual sheer amount of stupidity this forum community has when arguing things should be balanced but they themselves caused this buff to CHB to happen.
