Sometimes it happens to any skill. You need to delete and re-add it to the skill bar, reload game, activate it manually 1-2 times, check that you actually have SP because your little char doesn't auto-drink them or doesn't auto-buys them - anything may help. Or may not. There are bugs with auto-play here and there.
