it was used in servers before people complained enough to warrant safer ways to refine.

Bradium was used to downgrade +10 or higher faceworm skins with crappy enchants when Mimic didn't eat items with higher than +9 upgrades. Same with Carnium and Evil Slayer weapons above +9. Now, I think they're useless...

I thought this ores works here. Not that I'll be using it but now I have no more reason to pick them up.

Yeah, currently they don't hold much value in the game.  A good suggestion to make them relevant again would be to revert them into their counterparts, as it required 3 of elunium/oridecon to make 1 carnium/bradium as eluniums and oridecons are used way more.

They were the way to upgrade over +10 before the dark days of massive Kafra Shop upgrading expansion.
