Still would be useless once mobbed.

 

Maybe changing the formula so you can still flee stuff even with lots of mobs on, MAYBE then...

YOU DON'T GET IT...More flee means more mobs to fight at once,  not maybe 20 but at least 7-12 mobs maybe.  Please think again.

each monster past 2 that is attacking you reduces your flee by 10%, even with like 600 flee, if you fight like 7 monsters at once you drop to 300.

In renewal leveling design Flee is almost useless in pvm scenarios, only having some use in some 1v1s

THEN MAKE IT TO EFFING +3 or +5 FLEE per AGI! Just to make Flee useful at 10 mobs at least :pif:

Leech is not defense dude it's a technique to recover from damage.  But I can see why you would think its a defense because you are like preventing damage, unfortunately it's not preventing it is instead recovering what was lost by stealing from the attacker.  So the truth is it's not defense it's a complicated strategy to win war.

 

 

ANYWAY, I hope a GM comes and reply to this thread because I hate how the current GX popular build is!!!! You know why?? I like GX build that doesn't haste I like builds that are tough and not WEAK!! To me 12k damage is nothing if you can't even hit me lol goodluck fighting my OWN WISHLIST BUILD FOR MY GX! !!!! MWaHHAAHhaHa You will all bow down to FIRE you will see how smart Fire is!!!  Tremble in fear Lightning elements!!! 

 

My point is the videos posted in this forums about GX hitting 12k damage is clever but stupid because if a kid plays your GX the kid will surely die coz he is not Good at spammer XXXXXX button to kill Amon Ra in 5 seconds or less...what ever...I saw some videos and I'm not really happy with it, I saw he almost died from killing amon ra lol if he didn't kill it fast enough...It's weak that's my point..

Well im sorry for humiliating me lol THERE i said it but the truth is this is a PROPOSAL AND SUGGESTION thread so YOU ARE WRONG coz the topic was INCREASE FLEE per AGI so you can mob more monsters and I'm just trying to make flee useful.

I'm finding it really hard not to be patronizing...

 

I told you why high flee wouldn't matter, Ash actually explained it to you with numbers, I said how you could actually make flee useful but you dismissed that too.

 

Why start a topic if you're not only not willing to listen to people that disagree with you but with people that agree with you too?

or just remove the flee penalty then reduce the base flee/ remove the flee bonus from level / reduce the flee per agi for "balance"  :heh:  :heh:

"Make Flee Rate great again" would be pretty fitting, as I remember it being indirectly nerfed thanks to a monster balance years ago, where their Hit Rate was vastly increased. Last time I played, even a build that was fully commited to Flee Rate would barely reach 55% ~ 65% average Dodge Rate against proper monsters if ye didn't have Improve Dodge.

Also, pre-renewal had much lower numbers, as in ACTUAL numbers, of both Hit and Flee, so the Flee Rate penalty wouldn't hurt too much (200 Flee Rate was huge back then). Nowadays 400~450 Flee Rate may be a common number when leveling in about the 120s (if the average is actually higher at those levels, then yikes!) and it's not even enough to reach 40% Dodge Rate against many monsters, and the Flee penalty is % based so ye can guess where it is going.

So I'll get deep into this issue, just so ye understand why Flee Rate is NOT for mobbing: (Implicit mechanic, not shown in the Status Window)

Vs. # = Flee Rate Value (Let's say 460)
Vs. 1 = 100% (460)
Vs. 2 = 100% (460)
Vs. 3 = 90% (414)
Vs. 4 = 80% (368)
Vs. 5 = 70% (322)
Vs. 6 = 60% (276)
Vs. 7 = 50% (230)
Vs. 8 = 40% (184)
Vs. 9 = 30% (138)
Vs. 10 = 20% (92)
Vs. 11 = 10% (46)
Vs. 12+ = 0% (None)

As ye can tell, each additional enemy decreases Flee Rate by 46 (460 * 10%) in this example. Quite a big number. So if the Dodge Rate against a certain enemy was 76% before the penalty, now it's down to 30% if one joins the fray.

If ye have seen databases, ye can see the DEX of many, many monsters being much higher than their next highest main stat, and I think DEX is the highest stat of pretty much all monsters. I'd wish they balanced that.

You wouldn't need Flee at all if the blacksmiths forging were more decent.
