this is genuinely concerning me as a Christian with high moral values.

 

On the new armor Royal Guardian Armour (lvl. 240) there appears to be an upside-down cross.

 

When I saw this on the previews of the new armors I thought maybe it was sort of a joke. Unfortunately, when I bought the armor I was highly disappointed to still see this terrible icon displayed right in the middle of my chest. This is not a sword... you couldn't convince me a sword has a blunt tip.

 

a perfect 90 Degree tip is not a sword. 

 

This is an upside down cross. and i don't think that's cool at all.

 

Would the solution be to make it a shield? or remove the icon? or make the tip sharp (and I mean 45 degrees) both sides sharp.

Yes. I am totally in agreement with this. I actually thought the same thing, so you're not the only one who is disappointed by this. I hope they do change this..

You people need to seriously re-educate yourself with religious symbolism. The upside down cross is in no way a "Satanic Symbol" you want to know what is? 

 

This, is a 'Satanic Symbol' seriously, do some research.

 

Edit : further proof that the upside down cross isn't a 'Satanic Symbol' literally googled "Satanic Cross" and what do we get? Everything but a plain upside down cross.

As for the rest of you, I suggest you heed your own advice before trying to put someone down. Also, might I add, no one here stated it was specifically a satanic symbol, that was you who used that word. He just said "upside down cross" or do you guys have to retake the 2nd grade to learn how to read? I would've used anti-Christ symbol, but that's just me.

And if I'm the one that looks, let's say "unintelligent" then I highly suggest you google "Cross of St. Peter" because the upside down cross is his. It has nothing to do with anything "Satanic" and Wikipedia will tell you exactly that.

Lastly, if you're still not convinced from the evidence I've provided proving this thread irrelevant, the 'anti-Christ' has nothing to do with, again, anything 'Satanic'. In fact, if you check the Wikipedia page on the 'Anti-Christ' you will see an image on the right side of the screen, with the caption "Anti-Christ with the Devil" see here

 

I myself am not Christian, but I'm obviously more educated on it compared to you people lol. And that has to say a lot.

The origin of the symbol comes from the Catholic tradition that Simon Peter was crucified upside down,[1] as told by Origen of Alexandria. The tradition first appears in the "Martyrdom of Peter", a fragmented text found in, but possibly predating, the apocryphal Acts of Peter, which was written no later than 200 A.D. It is believed that Peter requested this form of crucifixion as he felt he was unworthy to be crucified in the same manner that Jesus died. As such, some Catholics use this cross as a symbol of humility and unworthiness in comparison to Jesus.

According to Roman Catholicism, the pope is Peter's successor as Bishop of Rome. Therefore, the Papacy is often represented by symbols that are also used to represent Peter, one example being the Keys of Heaven and another the Petrine Cross.

Secondly, you're only viewing this from one perspective. Your view isn't the only one in the world, so consider viewing someone else's point of view.

Feuer, just stop positing. I know you want to raise your post count and willing to say anything in doing so. No, that won't get you promoted to a mod or anything else. If you have nothing contributing to post, don't post at all. If you agree with someone's remarks, then give them reputation, don't just rewrite what they wrote.
