Ragnarok is the only game demanding the players to return to lv 1 in order to go to next classes [3rd job], a more restricted rules suppose to implemented to those 1st classes [Novice ~ 1st and 2nd classes], Transcendent classes get less and almost free from the restricted rules.

 

Restricted rules exsample:

 

•Cant use public chat and whisp in certain LV.

•Any items with drop rate under 1~2% will not dropped such a card.

•10~50 EMB in order to rebirth [Except VIP].

 

Need hard work, need time, and even money in order to become transcendent classes, this restricted rules purpose to slowing down bot user, forcing the players to respecting the game, and the rules.

 

Players cant just randomly making a character without thinking, look at the result of a quest called "Jumping Jane Quest", people so easily become 99 once they got a help from Senior, but at the end they begin to begging for money to random people sit in South Pront, not only that, after they got luck and go rebirth they stop playing because they feel their char become too weak, back to lv 1 High Novice, crappy eqp, crappy play skill, crappy play experience and then give up.

 

This game demand players to do farming and enjoy the farming, collect some item, selling it to NPC or vending it in order to get enough money for recovery item and better EQP, if people dislike to do it, then is clearly they are playing a wrong type of game or they play this game in wrong way.

 

I believe the Warpportal Staff can manage this game in order to get rid those bot without even using special "anti bot" system such a capthca or using a real living person to dealing with those bots, by applied more restricted rules toward new character.

 

You want to make a herd of novise/thief to farm Vitata card/Pupa card?, FORGET ABOUT IT.

Meh. It's easy to get to 3rd job now. I'm pretty sure most persistent botters are those that farm. At least it helps lower the cost of certain cards and materials.

I heard the GM gonna add a report bot feature in game soon, I heard when we right click someone and click report the staff will got notified and they will investigate the suspect,

 

Improving the existing bot report system is not really needed, a thread in the forum where players can reporting bots openly to public and using a real living person to dealing with those bots is both obviously wrong, just add a button on the client [link] lead to where player can fill a bot report file is enough.

 

As I said before, applying more restricted rules is more important, there is suppose to a basic script for players need to follow in order to leveling and earn zenny without a pressure feeling need to doing something they do not want to do [Example: farming strawberry]

 

A "LV box" where you can open it in certain lv [LV1, LV5, LV 15, LV 35, LV 60, LV 85, LV 99] contain untradeable items such potions, fly wing, butterfly wing, concentration, awakening, berserk, and even a few BMX is needed, its like a box inside a box, at LV 1 when you open the lv1 box its contain "LV5 BOX, 100 Red Potion, 50 Fly Wing, 25 Butterfly Wing and 5 Concentration potion".

 

Think about it, pure newbie or pro, they had no time to hangout at South Pront when they started a new character, they will busy leveling their char as fast as possible, for newbie, they will go to Eden in order to get weapons, and for pro they even make a special EQP for their low LV char leveling purpose such +10 Triple Vital Cat Hand Club, +7 Hard Adventure Suit, +7 Ringid Guard, +7 Hood of something +7 Shoes of something, and even +7 Novise Criatura Hat.

 

The current situation............ especially pure newbie...... they face a basic problem such had no money for teleport.... no money for potion.... no idea how to farm.... and even cant farm at all...... and some loser choose to use bot to farm Pupa in hope they get pupa card, or those Archer Skeleton card worth for 20M++ and get level up at the same time, or even worst they use scamming and spamming method in hope they can hacking someone.

 

The staff especially Mr.Campitor need to a something to make the players understand CLEARLY "BOT", "RMT", and "SCAMMING" is a wrong thing to do, by restricting the rules, and reconstruction the game play to help newbie pass the restricted rules without breaking/damaging the rule and the game.

 

And yes, the restricted rules even can make player to think twice before decide to make a new character.
