It's been ages since I've played. I came back 4 months ago. This game has had a lot of positive changes and seems to be heading towards MVP centered game play style. 

 

I've been personally affected by this. But I know several more have also been touched by this as well. 

 

Please update the account sharing policies. Halting assistance to people who have been cheated/scammed and robbed has caused a lot of pain and distress to this community. People who have taken gears w/o the owners permission should be punished. It's dishonest, it's hurtful and simply immoral what these people do.

 

Please change your minds.

Especially considering that they call them selves your friend and then walk away with your childhood (at least in my case).

 

I've been playing since 03-04 and honestly never trusted anyone. However 4 years ago. I had to go to college. I was at the time a Guild Leader and focusing on my studies became a priority. However, I felt an obligation to my guild. I didn't want them to quit just because I had to take a break. There for my solution was to allow my guild members to use my God Items while I studied. Unfortunately some greedy (pg) took my all of my gears. only things that remained safe were on alternate accounts. 

 

Do I deserve to have nothing after several years of work I put into this game. Feel free to say that I do. I was just trying to do right by my guild mates and gravity. But in the end I had to quit and so did my guild members. 

I didn't want to share my story with the server but here it is for all to see. Now I guess I'll be gone for while, again... 

Please change your minds. This honestly sucks that I can't even woe or pvp. or even compete with other mvpers. 

That I have to resort to doing instances alone. This game wasn't meant to be played alone.

You risked your security and now you're blaming the policy instead of taking the blame on yourself.

I've been scammed as well, and lost everything. But I came back to the game and just start over cause I had some knowledge of how the game works. There are ways to make it back into the game.

I hope you will find a way to overcome what happened. There's really not much a GM to do because it was entirely your responsibility on account sharing.

That's true. It is my fault. But do you really think it's fair that the dudes who do this to us get away with what they did?

What's not fair is that he broke your trust. That will be difficult to mull over as you continue to play this game. But you have to figure out how to pick yourself up after what happened. It sounds like to me that the GMs have done all they could. Now what do you want to do? Do you want to keep playing? Do you want to try and make some friends? All WoE guilds are recruiting. Don't just sit around and cry about what didn't happen. It's easy to be hard on ourselves.

Also I'm not sure if you can compare stories. Idk what you lost or what happened to you / when. But I had played this game for half my life. I lost mvp cards several +12 gear miniboss cards for days. Because I had enough equipment to equip at least 4 other players, due to me being a guild leader, enough gears to equip 4 players in woe and 3 players in ET. Now I can't even fully equip myself. W/o borrowing from friends, it's like sad really. It's like I'm a skeleton of my own previous self.

I have started playing again I am slowly rebuilding my guild and self. But I just want to at least know who did it. How can I get over something when it was so shady and in the dark that I still don't even know who robbed me. It's disgusting to think about it some times. He broke my trust but also broke my trust with my own guild. I have become the bad guy. I have wrongly accused even my friends. Yet I'm still going in circles never realized who had done it. Never finding any real answers.

I know how my guild members feel. Because I honestly call these guys friends. To have a friend accuse you of something like that. Must be devastating. It's like i'm pushing all my friends away. When the culprit just laughs in my face. Probably listening into these conversations all the while knowing it was him. It's so destructive. I really can't get over it. 

 

I've hurt too many friends. Some have even left as a result, and I've become worse then the guy who had stabbed me in the back.

Can u tell me that you'd be willing to play anymore if doing so meant you'd be joking around, helping and even potentially getting robbed again by the guy who took over 40bil from you?

OP just wants the policies changed so he wouldn't be at fault, but every company (even banks) that has an account system has virtually the same policies. Honestly, how can they be sure if they're dealing with the right person if multiple people have access to the same account? They can't, unless being psychic is a common thing now. So I don't see any company changing their account policies, much less WP.

I lost my smartphone in real life. What to do if you get robbed? I even only just make letters to police just for clarification formality because dealing with the criminal is annoying... As long I don't get hurt I just accept that and increase self-security in future...

 

Technically you can simply report hacked account as long you didn't say your account sharing. Did you expect that botters get banned and they will admit that if they want to release the account? You forgot to lock your room and now your items gone, who's the blame?

Well unless you're an idiot you'd know that giving your info out to a person doesn't give them free reign over your WP stuff neither does it mean that they got your email.
