just what it says on the topic title... my game wont start patching even if i restarted and delete browsing history on internet explorer 

it just says attempting to connect file server please wait then jumps to patch complete

failed to connect to pach server dont no ISP may be  PLDT or globe philippines yasterday its ok playing sky fortress and mid ti what the problem will i will re intalls again take 3 hour to donw load

Last time (2017_5_13) when i was playing the outdated version (yes i can play but i cant see some player names) it crashed and said theres something wrong with ragnarok.exe and when i open the client it was patching 2011 items so i used the solution you made in common problems and their solutions not that it helped (made it worse actually and i forgot to make a backup because of desperation to fix it quickly to join the woe) now i cant go online same problem.. now when i try to log in my accs i says "Failed to connect to server" 

 

this problem wasted 4 days of my vip access T.T

Your traceroute output looks normal. Please test whether your computer can open TCP connections to the update and game servers perform a connection diagnostic.

err.. am i not doing it correctly? it says portqry isnt recognized as an internal or external command

 

and is there a folder i should put it on or im gonna make the folder and extract it there?

You should have a folder on your desktop named PortQry, and immediately inside that folder should be a file named PortQry.exe. The file PortQry.exe must be located inside Desktop\PortQry, not a subfolder of Desktop\PortQry.

Cant find it so i made a folder myself (idk it that would work) 

im using winzip (the free version) and while using it i cant go directly to desktop so i need to make a pathway for it so i can extract it to desktop

or is the folder (PortQry) hidden or something?

Yes, you can create the folder yourself and then move the file PortQry.exe into it.

or is the folder (PortQry) hidden or something?


It's just a normal folder.

I don't know why your computer is unable to retrieve files from FTP servers, but I suspect that your router is to blame. Fortunately for you, I've devised a procedure that will allow you to update your client to the latest version without using the updater created a proxy through which you can route your computer's connections to the update server.

On which step did this happen? Did you try to install the 64-bit version of 7-Zip instead of the 32-bit version?

Try the following:
  • Download the following file:

    xdelta3-i686.zip
  • Extract the contents of the Zip archive into the client installation folder, and choose to replace the existing file.
  • Repeat step 10 of the original instructions.
