I couldn’t find any information about this on anywhere. Don’t know if it hasn’t been translated yet. So here goes mine.
Episode: EDDA ~An unawakening dream of the Pope and a girl (教皇と少女の覚めない夢)~ is an update implemented on JRO since April 27th, 2016. It focuses on Pope girl’s past story and her relation with other characters like Zhed and Niren.
Story
“... because I have a promise.”
Our pope looks strange recently. She wakes up late day by day which we have never seen before.
We're afraid there might be something happening to her.
Please, we hope you might go inside her dream and see what’s happening for us.
Crescent in the daylight
“Crescent in the daylight (真昼の弦月)” is a Pope’s dream represented as an instance dungeon to players. This dungeon narrates the story of the Pope about her past when Zhed and Niren was pursuing a girl with odd eyes to take a position of Pope. She was then forced to become a pope by her parent which she was totally unhappy about it.
Talk to Niren at Rachel as shown in the picture and accept her request. Difficulty Levels
There are 2 difficulty levels available for player to choose. The harder level, besides higher rewards, it also reveals the story even deeper.
- Within the dream (夢の中) - (Easy), required level : 70 or above

Pope was trying to escape from the sanctuary. Adventurer is requested to protect her from the guards coming to arrest her. She came across with her twin brother “Loomin” who had a qualification to become a pope too. Unfortunately, Zhed and Niren as well as their army chased until her house. Since Loominis was also their target as well, all he could do is to tell his sister to meet again at their secret place, the flower garden. It’s adventurer’s duty to protect until she can safely escape.
At the flower garden, Loomin wanted to live here in peace and try to persuade his sister to stay with him forever so that priests from the sanctuary won’t be pursuing them anymore. Adventurer then tries to oppose her twin brother is actually being sealed under the frozen ice. And the Loomin fight begins.
When he’s defeated, he became sealed under the ice. Pope herself appears and say her only mother she can think of rightnow is Niren and she is a Pope who brings hope and happiness to people of Arunafeltz. It’s time for herself to wake up. When her consciousness comes back, she appreciates adventurer for helping her many things and gives adventurer the credibility (信頼度 - A point for trading many rewards).

The story is the same as easy mode except the Pope (as a controllable mercenary) has much lesser HP. Enemies hit much harder. These make the Pope incredibly vulnerable. I always right-click and tell her to just wait. Don't punch any guards coming in. (lol)
High Priest Zhed randomly hidden in the map drops “Tilby (ティルビー)” which is a little pope doll that increases rewards at the end of dungeon. However, he can activate his red aura and hit much harder and faster than the easy mode...
Loomin is much stronger. He has skills that cause a status ailment to player as well as knocking the player back which is really harmful because Loomin spawns together with Icicles around the area.

And the most important thing in this mode is… when Loomin is defeated, the story is further revealed. Ktullanux, the master of the ice cave shows up and tells he’s behind all of these...
He's the last and true boss. Beat him to see more stories. (he's actually much weaker than the trueKtullanux at the ice cave.)
**Crescent in the daylight has cooldown of 1 day. Can be recreated again at 5:00am of the next day.
Rewards
Every time player finishes the instance dungeon, player gets “credibility point (信頼度)” which can be traded for many new items or used for enchantment.
- Within the dream(Easy) gives 1 credibility point.
- An even deeper within the dream(Hard) with boss defeated gives 2 credibility points.
- An even deeper within the dream(Hard) with “Old doll” found and hand over to pope gives 3 credibility points.
Divine Protection
Talk to “High Priest Assistant (大神官補佐)” to receive divine protection depending on the credibility point.

- Able to trade “5 Dream’s Fragments” for “Priest’s Necklace [0] (神官ネックレス)”
- Able to do a “Divine Protection of Dream” enchantment.
20 credibility points :
- Teleportation to areas around Arunafeltz is available.
30 credibility points :
- Receives “[Costume] Hanging Loomin” as a reward.
- “[Costume] Hanging Loomin” is available for trading. (60 Dream’s Fragments required)
150 credibility points :
- Receives “[Costume] Hanging Pope (Dress)” (たれ教皇（私服）) as a reward.
- “[Costume] Hangling Pope (Dress)” is available for trading. (300 Dream’s Fragments required)
Fragment of Dream’s Enchantment (夢の破片エンチャント)
“Dream’s Fragment (夢の破片)” can also be used to do various enchantment to “Priest Necklace [0]” with 100% success rate which give player an advantage while fighting inside the pope’s dream.

(1) Increases physical/magical attack by 5% to all monsters appear inside the “Crescent in the daylight”.
(2) Reduces damage received by 5% from all monsters appear inside the “Crescent in the daylight”.
Dream’s Divine Protection 2 Condition : After Dream’s Divine Protection 1 is enchanted, 2 Dream’s Fragment is required
(1) Increases physical/magical attack by 10% to all monsters appear inside the “Crescent in the daylight”.
(2) Reduces damage received by 10% from all monsters appear inside the “Crescent in the daylight”.
Dream’s Divine Protection 3 Condition : After Dream’s Divine Protection 2 is enchanted, 7 Dream’s Fragment is required
(1) Increases physical/magical attack by 20% to all monsters appear inside the “Crescent in the daylight”.
(2) Reduces damage received by 20% from all monsters appear inside the “Crescent in the daylight”.
Dream’s Divine Protection 4 Condition : After Dream’s Divine Protection 3 is enchanted, 10 Dream’s Fragment is required
(1) Increases physical/magical attack by 30% to all monsters appear inside the “Crescent in the daylight”.
(2) Reduces damage received by 30% from all monsters appear inside the “Crescent in the daylight”.
Dream’s Divine Protection 5 Condition : After Dream’s Divine Protection 4 is enchanted, 10 Dream’s Fragment is required
(1) Increases physical/magical attack by 40% to all monsters appear inside the “Crescent in the daylight”.
(2) Reduces damage received by 40% from all monsters appear inside the “Crescent in the daylight”.

Someone at iRO Wiki translated it from kRO, but it's lost in that giant Maintenance Thread somewhere. Interesting to see that jRO is catching up on updates as well.
Forgot to mention this update was implemented half a year before "Banquet for Heroes".
Last time I played at IRO was March. I walked around Rachel and I didn't find this dungeon at the same XY coordinate as JRO.
It's kinda confusing because IRO already brought Doram update to the server and now Banquet for Heroes is about to come. But IRO hasn't brought this update yet...
iRO wants to get the big updates first and then focus on the little updates. But the issue they run into is that they're so focused on the big updates that the smaller updates get left on the wayside the more big updates kRO throws out.
