Please try following the instructions that I've just added to the end of my guide. :)

 

done reinstalling, added xtekdelta files and ran Update file. Also added 1rag1 to the shortcut target. what should I launch first? should I open that Ragexe.exe shortcut or the regular Ragnarok online shortcut?

Open the new shortcut to Ragexe.exe that you created on your desktop. You will have to use this shortcut to open the client until we find a permanent solution to the "failed to connect" problem.

aww.. i really appreciate your help Axylus.. maybe you can teach me how to force/manually push those patches to the client with that update(cmd file) since I can still access the ftp patch site using Chrome and I dont wanna keep bugging you every week after maintenance for the updates   :p_laugh:

im trying this.. wish me luck.. before the maintenance i was doing fine.. patching is fine.. i wonder what the hell is changed so suddenly things went this way.. 

 

alright.. i failed at step 10..

 

"it says a duplicate file name exists, or file cannot be found

 

the attemp to apply the update failed..

 

press any key to continue"

 

 

why it did happen.. 

i try to tracert to www.playragnarok.com

 

it stuck on singapore and wont go on.. meaning i cant even reach the web.. 

 

while on chrome, i must use anonymox extension to open this..

 

i dont think this happened before yesterday...

I've created IRO client differential update 2.7z, which includes the updates released as part of the 2017/5/18 maintenance. Note that you will only be able to apply this update if you've already applied differential update 1.

You must have made an error while following the instructions. :(

i try to tracert to www.playragnarok.com

If you can't even connect to Gravity's servers, then it's pointless to even attempt to apply the differential updates. You should instead submit a ticket at the WarpPortal Support Center.

unbelievable. I almost gave up on this game because of this issue. Tried it one last time and lo and behold, it decided to work. It just started patching and I am now able to login without modifications or whatsoever with my internet connection. jeeezz..

i have the  same problem when opening ro it says failed to connect to file server. can you give me a step by step guide. By the way i can access the ftp://patch1.playragnarok.com/patch/. and tried reinstalling still the same for 3 days now.

I've followed the advice that I have seen in multiple threads but I'm still getting a "Failed to Connect to Patch Server". My Ragnarok account was working perfectly yesterday but today, for some reason, it does not want to work. Please help me. Thank you.

 

As of this time, I reinstalled the game but I'm still getting the same message.

Unfortunately, performing a traceroute doesn't provide the information necessary to diagnose this problem. Please perform connection diagnostics instead.

The output indicates that your computer is able to connect to the update server via FTP but not HTTP.

Do you own any other devices that are capable of running a web browser? If so, then test whether you can open the following file on any of those devices:

patch2.txt

If you can't open the file on any of the devices, then I recommend that you report the problem to both WarpPortal and your ISP. In the report, you should state that none of your devices are able to open a TCP connection to patch1.playragnarok.com on port 80. You should also include your IP address in your report to WarpPortal.

I can't open the file on my other devices so I submitted a ticket to both WarpPortal and my ISP. Now, all I can do is wait. Thanks for the advice Axylus!  :thx:

 i cant  open the link http://patch1.playra...ch02/patch2.txt . it says the cannot be reached. tried chrome, firefox and internet explorer
