Failed to connect to patch server.. :(

already tried everything i could from the old posts.

 

i could connect to the ftp site using chrome but not IE (my IE would just keep loading).

-no download manager

-no malwares.

-firewall already off.

-also allow RO from antivirus.

-windows fully updated.

-fully rebooted my modem. even did flushdns, release and renew.

-reinstalled the game, even redownloaded the game from playragnarok.com. 

 

getting really frustated.

 

any other suggestions?

 

 

--im on a newly installed win10 using IE Edge and newly installed RO, not sure if thats relevant but I have another computer on win8. I was using it to Play RO just a couple of days ago and suddenly it says Failed to connect to patch server as well. so it could be my internet?? my ip?? i dunno...  :sob:

FT15, did you try suggested solution #2 in the pinned topic [Common problems and their solutions]?

 

i am using home internet connection and yes:

-rebooted the computer.

-no download managers integrated to IE.

2. What is the model of your router?

 

well.. im fthe philippines with PLDT as ISP. As I mentioned, I was still able to play with my other computer a few days ago. now both of them are saying Failed to connect to server. I am really out of ideas... please elp! bye bye vip+ exp bonus event  :p_sick:

Until we have more information, I recommend that you manually update your client.

oh my.. i am able to go through the whole manual update process but still Failed to connect.....

the installer from playragnarok.com website is a Feb 2017 installer, right?

I also experienced failed to connect to patch server twice after new episode maintenance. I also tried all the solution here still not working. I Solved it by changing the connection from wireless to Lan by simply connecting directly to the connection to the computer. Go try it if it will work to you. Other people i know resolve this by dns change search "google dns 8 8 4 4" and follow the step you search. Hope this helps

The one on the official website is actually dated Feb 2017, ignore the text for now.

I cant even open the forums.warpportal.com . Tried ping it but rto. (I use my mobile phone to write this)
It seems i cant access everything from warpportal.com and other sites are fine and work as usual.

Yup me to re install took me 5 hour to donw load failed to connect pach server ISP may be globe or PLDT from phileppines playing in net cafe

well... tried that DNS 8.8.4.4 thingy for ipv4/ipv6 DNS didnt work. Tried connecting both computers straight to the modem via LAN Cable, rebooted and everything (even reset the modem first) and guess what, still the same...  :sob:

Manual update didnt work as well. I made sure that I follow them correctly. Tried this on both of my computers by the way, still no go. 

 

if only i didnt spend time and money on this game I would have given up already. I think im about to...  :p_sad:

well, redownloading for me is fine as Im using my home internet. Actually, ive already redownloaded the client from playragnarok.com 4 or 5 times in the past 12 hours or so coz of this stupid patching issue.

 

I wont suggest downloading it from a net cafe. You know the network the network traffic at net cafes here in the philippines. -_-

try patching your client at the computer shop, one of my friend in ro fixed his client by pathcing it in different location like comp shop

Manual update didnt work as well. I made sure that I follow them correctly. Tried this on both of my computers by the way, still no go.

Patch it at Net shop and play it at home if works.

hmmm.. i appreciate the suggestion but i dont think this is gonna since patches are downloaded to the computer.
