I wonder why there are Korean Ad Bots every now and then, is Warp Portal's server hosted in Korea so they are attracted to this forum? I think it is possible to stop them, and shouldnt be too difficult. We cant blacklist Korean IPs, but it should be easy to check if a post contains all Korean Characters. If the post contains all Korean characters, blocks it and treat it as spam. If it contains both English and Korean, then its likely a kRO translation post, it will pass.

Well all they have to do is to type some english characters, and problem solved. Ad bots are stupid after all, they will continue to type all Korean characters and their posts will be rejected.

ad bots can do the same thing and bypass it too, that idea is pretty much useless and just does more harm than good.

Or maybe, just show captcha if korean characters are detected. Real posters will be able to post by completing the captcha process, while bots will be rejected. Anyway the idea is to do something with posts with korean characters, which I think is still a good starting point.

A solution to the ad bots is available but currently keyed off. As for now, mods are working on eradicating the spam manually, faster to process when reported as well.

People have zero and I do mean ZERO idea the job of production team or producer does. Everything is praised or blamed on the GM team sometimes CM (I read those things with great derision). It would help them to know what the job entails by giving a list or some sort of explanation.
