As Tame Master of the Schwartzwald Region, all you need to do is use a tame on it.

The superstition of holding Down + A to increase the chances is not accurate.

None. It's purely RNG. Look it up on the wiki on how high the chance for a certain pet to be caught.

 

Let's say you have 50 tames so that's 50 attempts. The chance for successfully taming the said pet is 5% and we convert that to decimal that's 0.05. To get the probability of successful attempt  we just need to multiply them.

 

50 * 0.05 = 2.5

 

So, you'll have a 2 successful attempt out of the 50 attempts you've made. That's the least unless RNG trolls you.

 

 

I'm not really good with this kind of stuff so I might be probably wrong.
